That's a good assessment of the scene Kitt. Poor Hannah is always getting herself into these - excuse the pun - pickles. I totally agree that that was not Matthew's own appendage; definitely -- as you said -- a stunt double!

Haven't we seen Matthew naked quite often in The Americans? I can't recall his "pickle" but do seem to remember his buns.
Martha would know.
BTW, really looking forward to seeing The Americans again.

He and Martha were pretty naked at times I seem to remember. It's funny, when I saw it I did think to myself that I've seen it before, but couldn't remember when or how. Not that I recognised it, you understand, just that I felt he'd been totally naked before. I'll have to think about it, as that's not the sort of thing that it's wise to google!

That was the best part of the entire episode! Too bad she didn't get any dialogue. But a silent Martha is better than no Martha at all.

My heart leaped out of my chest when I saw Martha! Wow, I really felt so sorry for her. Let's hope we see more of Martha!!!

I was surprised but glad to see Martha, hope we see her again.
I think the season is off to a slow start.
Poor invisible Henry. He is the Chuck from Happy Days and Tiger from The Brady Bunch.
Why are the daughters on some of these shows so freakin' frackin' irritating? She may not be Kim from 24 but she is dang close. I can't remember my other example. Really sick of Paige drama.

I would hope, since they gave us a glimpse of Martha, that they're going to use her somehow in the upcoming bug infestation/famine storyline?

Don't forget Brody's daughter (Dana) on "Homeland" - she makes Kim and Paige look like Mother Teresa and Princess Diana! Every single scene that brat was in made "Homeland" a chore to watch. I can't think of a truer horror.

Yes, thank you Uncle_ricky, Dana from Homeland was the other example I was trying to remember. Referring to her character as a chore to watch was perfect. Hopefully, I can forget about her again.
I gave up on Homeland last year and have seen a bit of this season when my husband watches. I grew weary of Carrie and her constant look of constipation.

Sorry Naja, I'm also lost on the whole Russia side of the storyline....but I sure enjoy the conversations held in Russian with English captions.
It was great seeing Martha a few episodes ago.

The Russian story line has to do with access to food provided to grocery stores. There seems to be a great deal of skimming/stealing before food gets to the warehouses.
During the scene where we initially see poor Martha the shelves looked pretty bleak/empty.

Russian story includes finding out about all the corruption in the socialist system. Communism was suppose to be equal for all but there is a hierarchy, a class system where it shouldn't exist.

Wow Elizabeth is something else......I can’t be the only person watching. I find that if in bed minus my glasses I I am not getting the captions for the Russian translation.I need to be wide awake, glasses on so as not to miss nada !! Love this show but not Elizabeth.

Paige is the one that drives me nuts. I thought she was a pain before she was a spy. But then she became a spy and I don't know how her parents have the control not to put her over their knee. I guess Philip sort of did when he had the fight with her to show her how easily she can be overpowered. She really needed her bubble burst.

Don't forget: Season and series finale tonight. It should be a doozie. Keri Russell has been magnificent all season; actually, more magnficent than usual. I'm very sad to see this great show reach its conclusion.

I want the Jennings family to escape and Stan to die in the finale, perhaps shot by Henry. Wouldn't that be a surprise. I don't think it will happen that way. I rather doubt both Philip and Elizabeth survive.
Dang, I wish this show wasn't ending. I still think Matthew Ryhs should have won the Emmy vs Sterling K Brown. I think the role that Matthew played was more challenging and just better acted that year. (Yes, I am a fan of Sterling and This Is Us)
