I just I just watched Grantchester On Masterpiece; it's new for me but apparently was made in 2016. It's really good, I am going to enjoy this show.

I misset my DVR and didn't catch it last night. Drat. Going to see if PBS will show it online. I read yesterday that the actor really did go to seminary as a younger person. He's only 31 now.

I haven't watched Grantchester but James Norton was a cast member of the very well done show, Happy Valley.

It's a new season for PBS.... and a very good show last night. Loved the 'definition' of a womb that Jordy and his wife gave to their daughter.... knew it would come back to bite them!

They didn't want to explain what a 'womb' was... so they said that a womb is like a purse..... then, when walking into mass with her family, the daughter said to the parson's housekeeper... "that a nice womb" They looked appalled...I giggled...

I'm all caught up on 'Brokenwood' except for the last season, thanks to my librarian DD. Same goes for Dr. Blake. Love the Kiwis and the Aussies!

I recorded it. Have watched some. Good. The show is about Jane Tennison's early years on the police force. It's a prequel to TV show Prime Suspect in which Helen Mirren played Jane Tennison.

Did anyone watch season 1 of The Tunnel last year? Very good. Season 2 The Tunnel: Sabotage started last night. I recorded it, but haven't watched as yet.

I remember the Helen Mirren movie playing the older Jane Tennison and I liked her in that role. This young Jane Tennison has a dreamy look on her face and does not appear to me the right type for the role. I do appreciate the effort in recreating that 1973 environment, we've come a long way for sure, not only for the new technology helping the police force in solving cases but also in the way women officers are treated, there is more equality among male and female officers now, 1973 seems so long ago...
