I love these live nature programming events. This summer Nat Geo has Earth & Africa live. Two years ago PBS (with the BBC) brought us Big Blue Live about the Pacific and tonight they're premiering Wild Alaska Live.

First night of Yellowstone Live on Nat Geo. It's fortunate this hadn't been planned for Yosemite (thinking of all affected by the wildfires). Beaver family and black bear cubs so far...

Yellowstone Symphony is airing on PBS stations - check your local listings. "Yellowstone Symphony features world class images with world-class music without narration. The music includes some of the world’s best loved classical composers from Mozart to Vivaldi. Time-lapse, underwater, slow motion, and aerial photography are featured in a four season portrait of one of the world’s most loved national parks." - KUED Description reminds me of Nat Geo's Symphony for our World. Finally, in April Nature will be airing American Spring LIVE.

C-Span 1 is airing vintage CBS coverage of Apollo 11 launch; Walter Cronkite was just interviewing Arthur C. Clarke (who made a very poignant comment, in retrospect). This weekend they will be airing more CBS film of the landing and return to Earth.
