Just noticed this ... about a year and a half too late! Anyway, I think As The World Turns never should have been canceled. Same goes for Guiding Light. When both of those were gone, I stopped watching soap operas.

Rydell was Jeff Baker on As the World Turns. Jeff Baker (character) died before above photo. Neal Wade, Penny's love interest after Jeff, is in the photo.

When I was a little girl, there was a night-time soap opera called "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman", and it lasted about a year and a half. It was very controversial at the time. I used to sneak out of bed and watch it from the bedroom door while my mom watched it. I was too young to really understand a lot of it.
Anyway, I just downloaded all 325 episodes the other day, and I'm up to about ep 22.

Got on an All My Children kick last night. Watched a recent interview with Susan Lucci. Then saw a rerun of a show I taped a long time ago, but lost it when I had to turn in an old dvr. A lot of the old cast. I think the show was Home and Family. Then, I saw on old Phil Donahue. Oh my! Dimitri was on it, along with Adam, Erica, Jackson, and Tad. So good! It really was a great show!

I enjoyed it as well. AND.... I just saw several tweets that CBS is going to air the DayTime Emmy awards for the first time in 4 years!!!
That should be fun, it is planned for June, wonder if they will have to space everyone 6 feet apart in the theater.

Am I missing something? There's supposed to be an All My Children reunion this week on ew.com. I went to the website and I only saw a few minutes of Mark and Kelly, Eva and Sydney. Then it went to an Angel reunion. I thought it would be at least an hour. When they show it live is it longer? I can't watch it live, I have to work. It's supposed to be at:

On "Live with Kelly & Ryan", they had a mini-reunion of some All My Children folks. They were celebrating Kelly's 30 years with ABC, practically. She started on All My Children. It was nice to see all those folks. They also had folks from Hope & Faith. This was on Thursday.
