And what really pisses me off that they might cancel this show is Timeless was always in Top 20-30 when it was on Monday night in its first season, and then NBC moved it to Sunday night where is struggled for "live" viewers and not DVR viewers.

Doh! I meant "Wyatt"! I don't know why, but for some reason my brain just renamed Wyatt to "Travis". When I wrote that post, there was no question in my mind that his name was "Travis" and always had been. It probably has something to do with getting old.

I once had an acquaintance (friend of a friend) who I'd see around once in awhile, but I didn't know him very well. I always said, "George! How's it going? After the 3rd or 4th time, he finally said, "Btw, my name isn't George, it's James." I was mortified. I apologized. Then every time I ran into him, this would go though my brain: "Okay, I know his name is either George or James....and then I'd pick one and hope for the best. I never could remember which it was and at least once, I called him George again! I had to sit down and concentrate and mentally say "It's James" over and over and over in my head before it finally stuck. Now that I finally remember it correctly, I realize I haven't seen him in decades! With Wyatt, I think my brain stored his name in the "cowboy names" section of my brain and when I retrieved, it just picked the wrong cowboy. For some reason when I picture his face, I still see him as a Travis. <concentrating> It's WYATT.It's WYATT.It's WYATT.It's WYATT.It's WYATT.It's WYATT.It's WYATT.It's WYATT.It's WYATT....

A very interesting article about Timeless. It was #1 trending in US and #2 worldwide Sunday night. There was also a spike in the ratings Sunday night. TBH, I'll be shocked if they cancel it. How does a network cancel a show that has half a million mentions in a 24-hour period? #RenewTimeless

It hurts that they scheduled the show for 9:00/10:00 hour (when young children should be in bed) so it gets DVR'd so families can watch it the following night before the children go to bed. Even so, last season when it was on Monday night it was still always in the Top 20-30. It did very well in the ratings... and then they moved it to Sunday this season. What a bunch of dummies at NBC.

I'm still perplexed that there is no word whether or not the show is canceled or renewed. There was a huge movement on Social Media to #RenewTimeless and it is said that it got the attention of the execs at NBC. I don't know if this is a good thing that it hasn't been canceled yet or a bad thing that it hasn't been renewed yet.

Vsmart, isn't it already considered a mid-season replacement? There were only 10 episodes.

Well, I'm glad we get that. I can't wait. I'm going to miss these characters a lot and a wrap up for the fans is a good thing.

It appears that Sony has joined the fight to "Save Timeless" for a third season. It was voted by the critics at Rotten Tomatoes the best show on NBC (with 100% of the vote), before NBC canceled it. NBC owns the SyFy network. Had they transferred Timeless over to that network, it would have brought over at least 4-5 million viewers weekly, which is huge for a small network like SyFy. I guess the good news is people aren't giving up on this show.

I saw a commercial last night that there is a new 2 hour episode of Timeless tomorrow night on NBC. Maybe something to tie up loose ends? Set your DVRs!

It's the two hour series finale. Even better, it is meant to be holiday themed, so should be a lot of fun.

They are still holding out hope that another network will pick up Timeless.

The series finale tied things up nicely. Nothing earth shattering but a fine send off. All series should get the chance to do this for the fans.

Great ending wrapping up all the loose ends, but a slim possibility of another season.

I like that Wyatt and Lucy's daughters are named Flynn and her sister's name. Is the girl we see at the end designing a capsule for time travel the daughter or granddaughter of the baby Wyatt delivered?

No, the baby Wyatt delivered was Korean. She became a History teacher. The girl inventing the time machine is from the science fair.

The baby Wyatt delivered was in 1950. Lucy looked the family up and that baby had two children, so maybe that was around 1980. Those children could have easily emigrated to the US and had babies in 2015 that were at a science fair in Palo Alto in 2023.... I really loved how they gave us such a happy ending.

But a descendant.. Since they saved the baby, they altered history. I liked the happy ending, but the teaser of another capsule being designed, as they had predicted..

Is there life for Timeless? I was reading that TPTB have not "broken down" the Timeless set. They are still actively marketing this show for another network to pick up. Lucy said something towards the end of the show when she was walking with her students. She said "maybe in the spring." Clockblockers are taking that as a hint that the show could be back in the spring if another network picks it up.
