I agree. It's not too serious... kind of reminds me of Knot's Landing or Dynasty... I love Susan Lucci's character.

Heckagirl631, Devious Maids was created by Mark Cherry, the same guy who created Desperate Housewives. This show definitely has the feel and tone and humor of DH.

I am truly loving this season. I like the fact that Marisol remained friends with the girls even when she went back to her "real" life. I am liking the new families and the twists they have brought.
Have to say one of the funniest scenes was Rosie yelling at her son in Spanish that the crazy lady was making her do this and if he cried he could have ice cream lol

Very interested to see where they are going with a lot of the storylines. I thought Marisol's hubby killed Dahlia? Who is the "he" he is talking about?

I've been wondering the same thing. He must be referring to a death that hasn't been revealed yet.
But it was Opal that killed Dahlia. Dahlia told Opal their relationship was over and that it had meant nothing to her and Opal just shoved her over the railing of the bridge.

Come to think of it, we never did learn why Nick and Dahlia were fighting that night....maybe their fight had to do with the death of the mysterious "he" that Nick referred to when he was high on painkillers.

Evelyn and Adrian Powell had a son who was killed by a hit and run driver. I think Michael(Marisol's hubby) was the driver who killed the Powell child.

This is complete speculation on my part... but...
I think Valentina's father... Pablo??? will be shot and critically injured, eventually succumbing to his injuries... but on his on death-bed or because he previously agreed to give Genevieve a kidney, she will get her kidney from him. He will die, leaving Zoila free to see Javier the handsome chef.
I'm sad to see this show done for the season... it is a pleasant departure from the more gritty, realistic shows out there... it is silly, but fun.

I just read on a fan website for Michael E. Knight (Tad-All My Children), that Susan Lucci just signed for a new season with Devious Maids. Went to IMDB and it says the new season starts back this July. So happy! Can't wait to see what will happen!

I think I saw an advertisement for this show, yesterday, that said it starts back June 1. Or maybe it was June 19. My eyesight is not so good. Either way, can't wait!

As I watched the latest episode this morning... I have to believe that Taylor did not kill the tennis pro or Blanca... That would be too obvious... Who did Taylor call the evening of the party where Blanca wore Carmen's dress. She told someone that "there was a problem" then the next thing you know Blanca is being attacked... and I assumed ultimately killed.
Also when will Michael E. Knight's character make an appearance?
This show is my guilty pleasure... love it!! and I love that it doesn't take itself seriously.
