I thought the premiere was disappointing. It wasn't anywhere near as funny as I thought it would be. I'll see how I'm feeling about it next week as to whether I will give it one more chance.

So funny, I was intrigued trying to figure out what was going on, and I especially wanted to see what the did to Megan Mulhally (sp).
They were essentially just establishing the characters so I expect it to be better, but I did think it was funny, guess I am VERY easily entertained, LOL.

I thought Rob Lowe was pretty good in it, but, overall, I was disappointed and probably won't continue.

I really wanted to watch this, but the first few minutes were so boring, I turned it off.
I really like the one on FOX with Will Forte. It was a one man show for a few episodes and wonderful.

Hubby and I really enjoyed it. Wasn't a laugh a minute comedy, but fun. At least 75% of the shows we watch are British so I guess that's where our tastes lay.

Oh thank goodness, Rissa, I was starting to think I was a crazy person for liking it. I too watch a lot of British shows, so maybe that IS IT.

I liked it. Dipo I kept thinking where have I heard that voice before and didn't realize until you mentioned it uptbread the old woman with the swaztica is Megan.

Yep, Lakecat I had heard that the role was a big change from her previous role on that comedy, why can't I think of the name -- oh, Will and Grace, it finally came to me, LOL. And I wanted to see what they meant.
She cracked me up as the white power lady.

The ad I saw made it look zanier than Epi 1 turned out to be but I don't think that's the type of comedy it's really supposed to be anyway. I liked it (and I usually avoid end-of-the-world tales). Some of Lowe's dialogue made me cringe because it was so silly but then late in the show he had a lovely line which showed this isn't supposed to be just an ordinary, dumb, irreverent comedy.

I finally got around to watching last night. I liked it. And since I read these comments before watching it I set my expectations differently. I think that helped. I actually had to choose between keeping this and keeping Big Bang on my timer list and I got rid of Big Bang. (I think it's run its course).

It's my new favorite show. Rob Lowe (who I never really cared one way or the other about) is fantastic. Love the style of comedy mixed with drama.

I'm liking this! As stated previously, a slow start. But, I just caught the 2nd episode and enjoyed it. It has a great cast.
