Okay - Emma Stone brought her brother to the GG - no wonder she stuffed a t-shirt in his pocket, lol! But he still needs to learn to help a lady down the stairs when she's in high heels no matter who it is.

Did Prince need a cane to walk? Never mind - apparently he has hip problems.

Matt Bomer wins for Normal Heart - well deserved. Remember the olden days when they use to put the winners name underneath them as they spoke? They've only done it for a few categories tonight and then stopped. Wonder why?

This is one of the few awards shows that I enjoy. I am sad it is Tina and Amy's last year hosting.

I love this show too. Notice how everyone is glistening? The A/C must be broken. They are all sweaty! Jane Fonda looks soo good! Glad to see Boyhood getting awards. Risky artistic project that did come together into a decent film. Love Clooney.

The only negative of the GG is that they're so noisy when someone is up on stage to present. You can hear alot of people talking. Sorry I'm not spoiling much as I'm going back and forth between channels.

OH YEAH -- Boyhood!!! YESSSSSS! I haven't seen it yet. I have the DVD. Filmed it over 12 years. Nothing like that has ever been done before. As I was watching the clip during GG, was thinking how did they age Ethan Hawke? DUH! He (everyone in the movie) aged naturally. I love Linklater's "Before" and "After" movies. Three filmed nine years apart with the same couple -- Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy. Good chance there will be another in about '22.

I'm glad they recognized Boyhood due to the innovative nature of the film. I like that Linklater does things outside the norm, really thinking of ways to make new and unique films. Was it my favorite film of the year? No, but I'm still happy to see it getting awards. I love the Before and After movies, esp the first 2. I really, really hope they make a 4th. It's kind of like the "Up" series -- I love revisiting the same people, same characters over the years -- real years, real aging, real growth - not fake movie years.

When "The Affair" won Best TV Drama, the camera focused on the cast/crew walking up to the stage. At one point, the angle showed a few people going through the backstage path and you could see Catherine Zeta-Jones standing by applauding those who walked by her. One of those (non-acting) crew members stopped and took Zeta-Jones by the arms and attempted to kiss her on the cheek. She, with authority, deflected the man's advances, gave him the death stare and firmly pushed him away from her. Definitely a "How dare you?" response. She then went on stage to announce the next award and before doing so (pointing to "The Affair" entourage walking off stage), "those people are having quite a party" (paraphrase). Don't mess with Zeta-Jones!

Why are Tina and Amy not coming back again? And, sadly fell asleep on VERY end: what were the very last awards and presenters...and did I miss any more Tina/Amy repartee at the end? or was it just a quick sign-off? thanks!

Quick sign off -- they were about to run over time. Sorry, I don't remember the final awards or presenters, just that Boyhood won.

I agree. The Golden Globes are usually entertaining and should be even more fun with Ricky hosting. I'm looking forward to it.

What are those weird silver things sticking out of the champagne bottles? Couldn't they afford glassware, LOL? And what is Matt Lauer doing there, I can't watch when he is on.
