This storyline seems so stale to me. Just a character reverse of Castle's mysterious disappearance. I just want the straight up murder mysteries and the fun personal interactions this series is capable of producing.

That's exactly what I was saying, Spoton! Last year we had to put up with Castle being MIA, now it's Beckett's turn. I just want them back together. This show is not nearly as much fun without Castle and Beckett interacting. I miss the eyerolls!
And OMG! The spiders!!!!

I do love that the daughter has been solving cases and has closed 4 already!
I loved Toks Olagundoye on The Neighbors and love seeing her doing something else. I've also heard that Adam Baldwin might be back for a few episodes ~ please please please.
But yeah ~ enough with the recycled stories and let's move on! The previous 'captain' almost never left the office!

Well no wonder they wanted us to be nice to the writers, LOL, cast and crew. They just can't let Castle/Beckett live happily ever after. Darnit, lets get this thing solved and let them live in peace.
Just watching the police team solve crimes is fun enough.

I think that the writers are running out of ideas and forgetting what attracted people to the show in the first place. Which is a shame because there is plenty more material available.

I've read some articles by the writers and they felt they had to have some tension return to the relationship because they didn't want the characters to be too complacent and happy. They promise that it will be worth the wait but I am not happy so far. The next few episodes they say will be Castle trying to weasel his way into cases so he can interact with Beckett, kind of like the old days.

It might sound strange, but I only enjoy murder/detective shows that are funny. That's why I started watching Castle in the first place. If I want dark shows, there are innumerable shows to pick from. I do hope they get back to amusing soon.
