Just watched the first episode of this on FX. Omg, I love Denis Leary! I used to love Rescue Me for the first 2 or 3 seasons, till it just went too unbearably dark. In this show he plays a washed up rocker has-been who discovers he has a daughter who really can sing. John Corbett (who still looks pretty good, by the way) plays his guitar player. It's only a half hour show, but I enjoyed it and was surprised when it was over already. I think it's on Thursday nights (I set it up to record). It was fun!

Okay, maybe I'm just not cool, but I thought this week's episode was just gross. I would not be cool with my Hubby/partner having any kind of an experimental sexual experience with another person. Maybe I'm just not Rock&Roll enough. Or I'm just old. I didn't think it was funny. I was cringing the whole episode. Especially at the end.

this episode was not me, but this whole show is over the top with the daughter's affair with his best friend who also had an affair with the father's current and at that time girl friend for a year. Hey I never did drugs, and tend not to take any medication for the full time except antibiotics. So whatcha gonna do, nothing on TV reflects my life. I tend to lose games when people talk about how many times they broke the law, goodie two shoes are not considered interesting or nice people on today's TV.

OK, this show went so far off the charts it won me back, I love how people are trying to negotiate their way through tangled affairs. Failures when you expect success success when you expect failure. love that it turns on a farm in NJ.
