Naja, I was just coming here to post the same thing! Just read about it on People.com. I used to watch this show every week with my family, back in the days when all we had was one 19" black and white TV. We'd gather on the couch on Thursday nights and watch this all together. My dad would have been about the same age as Jim Bob (ironically my dad's name was "James Robert," so he could have been a "Jim Bob," too!). So many happy memories and warm feelings around this show. I set it up to record, but I'll have to watch it by myself. Hubby's not into the sentimental stuff. Our son would watch if I made him, but he probably wouldn't enjoy it either. I will though!

Well, I watched the remake of The Waltons Homecoming. I thought it was horrible. It was like a bubblegum version. The casting was dreadful. In a million years I wouldn't think of Bellamy Young playing Olivia, and now that I've seen it, I still don't. The original is just too good for them to have remade it like this.

I’m not a fan of the Hallmark holiday movies. I watched Netflix “ Single All The Way”. It was cute, predictable and Hallmark-y though. It has some well known actors in it and some cute men. Thankfully it’s a little different than the typical holiday romance movie because It revolves around gay characters. It’s sweet.

Watching An Ice Wine Christmas on Lifetime and it totally threw me off ... I wasn't really watching and then I heard Roark from Fantasy Island, LOL so I looked up. She is in this movie.

any one see the Hallmark movie parody - a Clusterfunke Christmas? It was on the comedy channel and probably will run again. It had the requisite hard edged woman exec going to a small town to buy a hotel and make it a resort and falling for a lumberjack......

Oh it was so much fun, Jimmer! Two of the stars are SNL alums, Rachel Dratch and Ana Gasteyer. They play the hilarious spinsters that run the inn.
