The new board came online around 4:30pm board time. Thank you for your patience during this upgrade procedure. It went okay. We had a few problems, but we sorted them out. Thank you to everyone that helped in the testing phases, in the chatrooms today, in the upgrade process and for just being here....it's all here for you, the regular user that just likes to come and have a good time!
Some things may still need fixing, please be patient. If you find something broken, please report it.
There is no fly in the logo? As you may know, a member named Flyonthwall passed away and many people contributed money towards the TVCH in her memory. The money was used towards the purchase of this upgrade software. Many people felt we should put a fly or some other way to recognize her in the logo or on the main menu.
I personally made an executie decision NOT to include this. Why not? Because this board is about everyone, not just one person, and we can't recognize everyone in a special way like this. Once we start to do that, it will get out of control. I'm sorry, but that's the way it has to be.
There are other ways to remember your lost ones, and we will always remember that Flyonthwall's passing helped make this upgrade a reality, but we don't need it in the logo to remember. I hope you understand. We do have a fly clipart 
User Statuses Initially the new board featured different statuses which appear just under your username. You are all set to Member now. It was creating too much spam posting. In the future we may use this feature to show what timezone you're in or to select a group to which you belong....we're working in it.
Registration Dates There is a thread in the General Discussions area about this. Please read it. If you're not happy with your date shown, it can be changed. Go see that thread!

Search Page Changes The search page now includes code that allows WebTV users and users not using a mouse, to properly navigate it, without being forced into a particular type of search.
New Messages The other day we enabled code to automatically expand new messages search, and included the date, so the new improved search tools are more similar looking to the old search tools.

We've added a new icon to the main menu. It looks like a small world with links. It is the new Quick Links menu.
The old pull-down menu was causing long page loading times and problems for WebTV users, Netscape users and Mac users! This should correct all that.
