For me it takes almost 20 seconds for my old keys to respond sometimes - very frustrating. Juju2bigdog Member 10-26-2000 Tuesday, August 25, 2026 - 7:23 am        Wordle 1,893 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟩🟨⬜ ⬜⬜⬜🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 I did an AI thing the other day that Kim Komando recommended, on running your computer's own analysis using the CMD feature, and it will spit out a million character result, which you then copy and feed to an AI bot, asking it to diagnose what is making your computer so slow, and prioritizing its answers. It told me my computer is very old and has reached the limit of its capacity, especially the hard drive, and gave me recommendations for things I could do to help revive it, the main thing being to replace the old hard drive with an SSD, if it is even possible. I ordered a new laptop from Costco that should be arriving tomorrow. What am I going to do with all that extra time I don't spend during the browser not responding messages. My laptop is still quick when I am not waiting on those messages. The problem is I like to have about twenty tabs open at once, and the old machine has started balking against it, so it punishes me. If either of you want the Kim Komando link to tell you how to use AI to diagnose your computer, go find either an AI discussion or a general computer or technology discussion, and ask the question. The AI thing was very, very helpful/weird/scary in retrospect. It was SO freaking warm and loveable and helpful - like the love and helpfulness NEVER ended, and I would have been showered in love endlessly, and I would never have to think for myself ever again, because my new best friend would always take care of me. I loved it, but knew it was wrong to be so beguiled. Holy crap! - and it is okay to re-post my remarks into other threads if you wish. I have to go fight some medical authorization stuff in the morning, and I already have full days every day.
