WTH, Eggie?!?!?! I apologize for not mentioning you have to use my three starter words in the exact sequence. You MUST start with STARE.
BUT,
ADIEU and STORY
miaou and lyres
poise and gaudy
about and yield
are also good starter word combos.
Want to have some nerdish fun? Let's all start with ADIEU and STORY for tomorrow's word, unless Bzbee has already done it for tomorrow, in which case, we can start it with the next day.
So, IF Bzbee opts in, and since she usually goes first, she can go with story and adieu for starters for April 3.

Huh! This is kind of interesting. My pictograms look a lot like my usual pictograms, predominantly white - more eliminating what is NOT in the target word than what is.

I guess the words I am now posting are aimed at identifying or eliminating the 5 vowels and y and some more common consonants. So using this method, I never start trying to solve before attempt 3. I no longer get any 2's, but I almost always get it in 4, and very rarely crap out, because I have eliminated so many consonants.
Okay, tomorrow: about and yield - and that might be the end of the 5 vowels and y in 2 words list.
