Guesses for new set:

1. almost had to be WWII

2. Juice

3. kumquat

4. Mozambique, which may also be the only country to have an assault rifle on its flag

5. Would you like to (voulez-vous couchez avec moi is the song that will remind you)

6. South China Sea, which I have swum in AT the mouth of the Mekong River, without thinking of what was up-river of that junction (over-river huts with no plumbing), and I got caught with a rogue wave there, and some got some water in my mouth. My first case of probable e-coli poisoning. I threw up all night, and then the diarrhea started. But we were on a schedule, so I couldn't hole up in a hotel and be miserable. I could NOT eat anything for three whole days, so I just showed up for meals and drank water, bottled water, foreign, canned, sparkling water just to be sure it was not tampered with. Where was I? Oh yes, playing TVCH trivia. Carry on. Thanks for the memory, Mamie.

7. copper

8. top-knot

9. perhaps Sweden

10. toss-up between cockroach and fruit fly, but I think there is WAY more DNA data about the fruit fly, so will go with that

voulez-vous can mean both would you like to and do you want to. The nuance of the phrase is closer to would you like to.

32. South America, but that is an interesting question because I associate them with central America and the Caribbean islands. So, I had to think about it for a while.

33. 6

34. Gone With the Wind, 1938

35. Well, I think it is one of the two large oceans, Atlantic or Pacific, but I don't know where the 1960 Olympics were held. But wait!!! I do know the 1956 Olympics were held in Melbourne, Australia, because my family had emigrated to Australia in 1955, and was there either during or just before the Olympics. So, therefore, the 1960 Olympics were probably held in either North America or Europe, so I will go with Atlantic Ocean [falls down dead]
