Apparently I meant "The Clapping Song" sung by Shirley Ellis in 1965

Very interesting stuff about it here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Clapping_Song

I have really no idea how or why I know about it, but it seems like I have known this song all of my life, except that I was still in high school in 1965. Maybe because it was in several movies?

Oh, and look Shirley Ellis also did Name Game. Here is a youtube I found, and I think that might have been Dick Clark up there in the balcony in a shot toward the end.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4pk9569AvU

I don't remember the clapping part so much as the other parts of the song about the little girl and the animals. I only remember it as a couple clap-claps after everybody went to heaven. Just weird how distinctly I remember parts of this song. Oh, and I had that VERY same hairdo seen in the audience in 1965. The absolutely perfect "flip".

Guesses for new set:

31. Portugal

32. Apples - we first discovered Pink Lady apples at roadside stands in either New Zealand or Australia in the early 2000's. It is Bigdog's preferred apple to this day.

33. Truman

34. I actually know what a phloem bundle would be, so it would be a sort of conduit tube going lengthwise through a probably not round fruit with a somewhat rigid outer jacket, thus ruling out berries, citrus, and pomes and a lot of other fruits. Possibly pineapple, probably not melon. Which might leave plaintains and bananas, which are sort of the same fruit. [falls down dead]

35. Holy See

36. dunno

37. South America

38. My sophomore year in college (U of Illinois) I took a science elective course on bees, but it might have been only honey bees, so no help, or I don't remember at all. Let's say 32.

39. Neptune

40. bird

Dang, Bigdog said Eisenhower, and I thought it improbable that he was in both WWI and WWII.

Several of our grocery stores sell live venus flytrap plants. How cool is that?!

Oh, and, Mamie? Please don't do Xylem and Phloem again. Too exhausting.
