quote:27. What state capital bordering the Pacific Ocean has a name meaning “protecting bay”? Juneau
Meaning "protecting bay" in what language? Well, I was going to say Juneau, except I have been there many, many times, and I know the Capitol is named after Joe Juneau, who, I am pretty sure, was a non-native white man interloper of French descent. So, where does that leave us? I think it is a made-up question and answer (not by Mamie, of course).
