Holy Moley, after I posted last night and saw OG's answer for “Where America’s day begins”, I thought she had lost her mind, or at least her sense of direction, as Guam is in the Pacific Ocean. But apparently it is so far west that it is apparently in the EAST!! Which led me to this very interesting article and exceptionally interesting map graphic showing Guam (and Wake Island, a US territory, are indeed on the other side of the international dateline). https://www.cbsnews.com/news/wake-island-where-americas-day-really-begins/ Huh!!
