Congrats Scoots and Dean, unfortunately it's been a freaking nightmare. Last month we switched our old rental cable tv box because it pooped out on us. Friday, Christmas eve morning we exchanged the month old one (box # 1) because it froze the night before. Brought another one home (# 2) and it wouldn't boot up. We exchanged it the same day. It was another dud (# 3). Next day, Saturday, Christmas day, store was closed. Exchanged box #3 for box # 4 on Sunday morning. Yet another dud! Did I mention that I spoke with several techs each time? Eventually they sent a Technician to our place on Wednesday with box # 5! He had problems hooking it up in the morning, so he had to leave for his next appointment...! Promised to come back later. Showed up at 4:30 and FINALLY got it hooked up. Seven days of this nightmare. Factoring in that I spent HOURS on the phone throughout the entire time. I did manage to call the company's Retention dept.,and got a small rebate and 3 months of a free promo package. For a week without cable tv, and 4 trips to the store to switch them out. Etc. Etc. Fun times! Not.

The girls were in quarantine last week, as J was exposed to COVID at work on Tuesday. No symptoms, and they came over yesterday, to watch the Niner game.
I made homemade lasagna yesterday....it's been a long time since I've done that.
