Adding to my story... we were actually packed and had suitcases with us as were heading to Niagara Falls for our Anniversary. So thankful we weren't stuck in the elevator with all our stuff. The power failure just delayed our trip 2 hours, that's all. Thankful for that unexpected phone call moments before the power went out!!!

Had a craving for chicken salad yesterday for lunch so stopped into the store while out on an errand, and came out with chicken salad, shepherd's pie, lasagna and chicken wings.
Our work deadline is on Friday, and I've put in for vacation days for next Monday and Tuesday to give my brain a rest.
