Hubby and I thought the Bello Sisters were the most boring act of the night! One of my friends suggested that the "Super Fans" voted for boobs over talent. Ugh.

I agree, it does take strenth, but I wouldn't call it talent. Lots of practice from a young age. I can't see going to a whole show of them. Their act is very repetitive and we found it boring.

Nobody's talking about the new season yet? My SIL said if the guy doing flips in the dinosaur costume is the talent this year, she passes. I liked the rock group, Steel Panthers. I thought that Simon doesn't usually like rock groups, though? I was surprised they put the girls through who kept falling.

The little boy magician (SCAM act) did a trick that was so easy to figure out. I can't believe he went through.

I also can't believe the two female country singers went through, or the mom crazy dancer.

Naja same! I figured the Scam act out in 3 seconds before he even got to the placement of the last card! So I agree! If he had been on Penn and Teller they would have broke down laughing!

And yes, I'm also tired of actual talent not being front and center of the judging as opposed to the "story" or the fact that the "talent" was unexpected (but not anything special in and of itself) as the mom dancer etc. But I understand, it's what the general public wants

Was that singing dog and band a hologram or CGI?

I was also confused, and I missed the minute of the discussion with production and Simon. So after the show I looked it up.

"A production crew member explained to the judges that Bun was a character created by a group of animators but voiced by a real singer backstage. After the audition was complete, the animators would edit the performance to give Bun a three-dimensional figure"

I still don't understand how a Cartoon made it on the show. They said that a real human wS the voice backstage. Aren't all animations vocals by humans? Maybe because it is simultaneous? But they said they edited it later?

Thanks Sincebb1!

They worded it strangely, but it sounds like the judges and audience pretended something was on stage while the singer sang backstage. Then they edited the cartoon characters in later.

There was a giant screen on-stage, which, with the 3D cartoon characters, made it look like the animated characters were really on stage. I still don't understand it, or why it would be on AGT.

This is even more confusing

Noodle and Bun is a 3D CG, non-verbal comedy for six- to 12-year olds which follows the adventures of Noodle, a wobbly cat who causes trouble; Bean, a pug who whimpers in the face of danger; and Bun, a little mouse who holds this peculiar group together.

So apparently it's a known animated cartoon. It makes no sense to me. I mean we know they have holograms and advanced animation out there.

Not liking how they are doing AGT this year. Have they always only put two acts through a week? I don't remember it.

I’d be a fan of this show and watch it all the time if they’d just showcase talented people. But I guess that’s not what the majority of their audience is looking for.

I stopped watching years ago. Half the people don’t seem to even be from America, but overseas.

That's what my SIL always says. Why don't the foreigners go on their own Country Got Talent show?

My SIL sent me a meme of herself rolling on the floor laughing. She said she's done watching the show. We would not pay to see that act in Vegas or anywhere.

I am over everyone voting for the sad story people. Those brothers were way more talented and should have won over the blind singer. I think this is my last season watching

Would i have voted for Hurricane, no. but i did not vote so I am not going to bash those who did vote... many didnt want hurricane to win, but many loved the act, so that is just the way it is. Every act had a backstory.

I also completely am fine with whatever acts travel to compete on AGT. it may be more in the storybooks then in reality right now, but the whole concept that makes America what it is, is that its a melting pot of people, a place that ANYONE can come to, a place where people still believe in that "American dream" and so if the dream is to be in Vegas and have that success, there is nothing wrong with "foreign" acts trying to achieve that.

America's Got Talent Fantasy League is already on ep 6, but I just started watching. It was so nice seeing TapeFace again! I didn't realize it but he has his own show in Vegas now at the MGM Grand. (That's where I was during the big California earthquake in '92. It felt like giant trucks driving by and the chandeliers were swinging.)

I'm only on ep 1, so I have no idea how far he makes it. It looks like there is going to be a total of 8 eps.

I remember the first time I saw Tapeface on AGT years ago. I thought he was brilliant! My friend has seen him in Vegas and loved his show. I also was sad he didn't make it further.

I just saw Drake Milligan on "Opry Live" from last night! He was awesome!

The Opry audience went CRAZY for him! He's going to be a huge star!

It doesn't hurt that he is so freakin' gorgeous.
