One of the faithfuls pointed out at breakfast that if you are selected as a replacement traitor, you will be stabbed in the back by existing traitors and you are just there to protect the existing traitor.

That is such a flaw in the game, if they say no they are automatically murdered. It is a no win

Maybe they should offer the traitor position without identifying the existing traitors?

I was thinking, especially since you have no choice basically to become a traitor, maybe the traitor that is eliminated should be able to pick the new traitor. This way it would give an incentive to the traitors to work together rather than turn on each other. I don’t mind them voting each other out to not go against the majority, but when they actively go after each other is what I don’t like. To me, that sort of goes against the “oath” they take about not outing each other.

That is a great idea Bbpeach because it adds an element of risk to the existing traitors. I agree - I dont watch it to see traitors going after each other right out of the gate. The first mistake in this game is having two out of three traitors having a relationship - that puts the other traitor at risk. In Rob's case, he wanted to split them up and get rid of them. I don't mind the celebrity traitor edition, the UK one was great and I loved Alan Carr. The problem in the US is what is considered a traitor, just a bunch of wannabe reality show participants.

I forgot about Dorinda. Yeah, she is the last one I wouldn't want to see win. I was rooting for Candace until she went after Rob. Her anger clouded her judgement and she should have gone along with Rob, and targeted another faithful while planting seeds about Rob. She played her hand too soon I think. But I guess we'll never know.

Good episode tonight, but not as good as the past few weeks. But I think it set it up for a good one for next week. A scene between Johnny and Tara made me a little teary eyed, but then again, I am a sap. And Rob made a big mistake getting rid of Candice. She was the brains behind the operation. He's flailing a bit and making bad decisions. His first was choosing Eric to be a traitor. But, these faithfuls are so clueless, and in awe of him, I guess he'll be safe long enough. Now I'm off to watch the podcast to see if Boston Rob and Bob the drag queen agree with me.

Wait, Boston Rob and Bob the Drag Queen are doing a podcast together??? I knew there was a podcast, but I have never wasted time on a podcast. I feel bad enough with just watching the shows as much as I do.

Wasn't sad at all to see another housewife, Dorinda, go. She was pretty useless anyway. I'm not sure who else Rob could have chosen. I personally think he chose Eric because he thought he could manipulate him. I also don't think Candeice was the brains.... she played emotionally, not logically. Rob was the logical one.

Pamy, yes, but I found it wasn't that easy to find the podcast, you have to search. For me, with Xfinity, I just say "Traitors Podcast" into the remote... that's the easiest way.

I thought it was a good episode. I loved the bond between Tara and Johnny, their shared experiences of their lives. I would love nothing more than to see the two of them to the end. If I was a traitor I would only see two choices of who to murder - Kristen or Natalie. As a traitor that would leave Johnny or Tara for the round table, makes them safe for another round table.

I've finally caught up and watched Episode 9. Traitors is good TV! I also watch the Rob/Bob Podcast afterwards and enjoyed their take on the episode.

Did everyone give up? Just glad to see that Rob is at least on the radar now. But I’m sure he will end up winning and throw Eric under the bus.

I’ve got a feeling the powers that be are regretting the casting of Tara and Johnny, especially Tara. I’m sure she’s a very sweet person, but this show was just too out of her depth. They also bungled the secret traitor by assigning it to Donna Kelce (who I love, but only because she’s Taylor’s future mother-in-law) — I felt so bad for her when she couldn’t hold her own. I hope they do a better job next season with the casting. 🤞🤞🤞

Honestly, just too many housewives, esp with 2 as traitors at the start. But the game play overall hasn't been that good. I didn't like Rob at the beginning, but he really is the only one playing the game, and that makes for boring, esp once he elim'd both of his fellow traitors. Eric is just too nice to be exciting, and just does what Rob tells him to do.

The 2 vote dagger didn’t help matters, either

I guess it will be a trifle amusing to see just how slayed they all are to see who wins, but It has been pretty boring since two of the original traitors got banished.

I'm convinced that Maura is the dumbest Faithful ever. All she does is "tink" but she doesn't "tink" Rob could ever be a Traitor. Was it Australia the series whenever the Faithful were zeroing in on a Traitor, he talked them into banishing someone else - every. single. banishment.? That's exactly what Rob is doing. Every time they zero in on him he talks them out of it and they don't even know it.

tink is how Irish pronounce TH. My brother used to say tink, ting all the time. I agree she is dumb as a post and not sure how she will act when she realizes the only reason she wasn't murdered was because Rob knew he could rely on her being clueless
