I think they are revealing the Secret Traitor too soon! I am guessing that they were going to merge the Secret T into the main group once a regular T was found, but they didn't expect that to happen so soon. It's a shame, because I think we could have identified the Secret T in only a couple more rounds. The first episode they choose to banish one of James, Netty and Maz. Then second Reece, Ben and Maz. So we know the Secret T isn't James, Netty (murdered), Reece, Ben and Maz, nor regular Ts Rachel nor Stephen nor Hugo (banished). Also not Judy (banished) or Ben (murdered). That's down from 22 to 12 suspects! If it went on for a couple more rounds and they were forced to isolate different faithfuls each time, we'd be pretty close to guessing. When they chose Maz for a second time I got a bit annoyed, as I thought they'd be able to control the game by picking on someone they didn't want, for whatever reason. But I think it might have been done to limit what the regular Ts could deduce about the Secret T.

I actually like the secret traitor twist. It puts the real traitors on edge. It is really delicious. Do you know who the secret traitor is? I am not sure.

Not yet, at the end of episode three they revealed that the regular traitors would find out... but the show ended before that happened.

Poor old Ross really was dealt a bad hand. Netty was so silly to exclaim at the beginning that she knew him, but what's really weird to me is the reveal this last episode that Ross and Ellie were dating!! So he knew her on purpose, and the connection with Netty was just a coincidence?? I also suspect everyone or at least many in the house have a partner there of some sort. I think R&S will get rid of Fiona soon, she's too unpredictable, and I think she would be quick to betray them. They need to get there first.

I really liked Ross. Very disappointed he is gone. I really would like to see Fiona get set up by her traitors. I think we might be dealing with secret pairs, relatives, girfriends/boyfriends, coworkers.....

Thursday’s episode (5) is a real corker! I knew Fiona was a loose cannon, and I don’t think it was strategy, she was just jealous her friend didn’t trust her like she trusted Rachel. What worries me for Rachel, is if it looks a bit traitor on traitor, which will depend what happens tomorrow, as there’s a whole day before the next banishment and the first opportunity to get rid of Fiona. I think R should push it all as crazy, and unreliable, I.e. a personality failing of Fiona making her a bad faithful, especially as Fiona hasn’t been helping in the challenges. If she tries to wrangle the circumstances to saying it’s because Fiona's a traitor it’s going to sound too calculated. Especially when (at banishment) she’s shown to be right. It’d reinforce “traitor on traitor” I think. Wonder what Fiona will do next, whether she’ll realise her mistake.

I think Rachel has exposed herself at the round table for pushing Ross. Rachel could also plant a seed with someone that Fiona is a traitor and at the same time taking the heat off Steven. Fiona was one of the five present in that conversation that Ross pointed to as one person being a traitor.

Rachel thought she was being clever with Ross, but it didn't look good. Not sure whether it looked traitory or just awkward. In general Rachel doesn't seem to be very good socially, so that might protect her, if that didn't look too off for her character. Yes, if Rachel and Stephen can talk privately that would be a good thing to push. And I think then they would forget about Stephen for a while, as the rest of the suspicion is mostly based on that one thing.

Episode 6 was wild! Not just in the follow on from the Rachel/Fiona thing, but the last few minutes!! I will wait to post a bit more.

There is an aftershow called Traitors Uncloaked, which I'm not watching, but saw briefly while turning channels. Fiona was on it, and she was dressed like this:
She's only 62, and I think the old lady stylings, including hair, was all an attempt to create a harmless image, that would be a contrast to the undercover character she wanted to portray as the evil behind the scenes manipulator. But she came on way too strong and inauthentic onscreen, imo. And then whatever gambit she was playing over Rachel just didn't work, and that was it. It did make me smile. I was actually surprised it wasn't more 50:50 with Sam, from some of the questions, there must have been more talk off camera that had swayed them. Matt... I would half like them just to say "No" to his deal, just to exert some power, but wow is that a way to play the game! Jessie is now content that she got the traitor from her Ross-Group theory, so it seems a good time to get rid of her without it necessarily pointing to Stephen. And then Matt seems generally under the radar and liked, so he might make a good traitor, but maybe a safer traitor than either of R or S, so perhaps you don't actually want him beside you. Maybe they could string him along and murder Jessie, but then murder him after that ;). I wonder what Harriet's going to ask. And unless they all agreed not to talk about what happened with their Traitor questions, Rachel's going to have to make up some questions and answers she would have got from them (were she a faithful).

They would be fools not to pick Matt to be a traitor. He is smart and has a good handle on the game. So happy Fiona met her demise.

Happy to see Fiona go - she was realllllly pushing it! I agree from up above, Kitt - I think all of them have a partner in there. Maybe Fiona was the only exception and thus the reason she was picked as the "secret" traitor at the beginning.
