The fireman lost the firehouse challenge by 17 seconds of more than ten minutes effort and clocked out.

And Murph the ex-marine conquered his fear of heights to rappel down the building for that win!

Looks like I'm not the only one watching it. I'm so-so about it. Competing for $$ as teams, but I don't see / feel any team-ship beyond that. I'm not vested in any one contestant. Auditioning for season 2 so I guess it will be back.

I had no problem with any of the F3 as I liked them all. I did have a sense of relief that Callie didn't make the F3 as I honestly think it was too grueling for her. She was tough but not that tough.

Loved the show. I was team Dirty Hands all the way, but Murph's win was a good one. I would have liked them all to get trucks. Imagine their faces! And there will be a season 2. I hope it taped before this aired, so that the new group comes in fresh.

TBH, I liked everyone on both teams (which is so unusual for this type of show).

I agree! and for that reason it was perfect that they got to stay on the show and help in group challenges. If it was a sucky bunch we wouldnt have wanted to see them throughout the season. I would love to see this group play BB to see what would happen

I loved this group of people too. They all were hard working, not a quitter in the bunch. Even when they had differences and were feeling stressed, they remained respectful. I especially loved the way they supported each other, even though they were all in competition. We haven't seen this much maturity on most reality shows.

If they played BB, they would have to turn on each other. This was a good format. I would remove the advantages, though. I don't like them on any show or competition.

I just started watching this on cbs.com a week or so ago, and was unable to see the first four shows, as they were subscribe only. Finished it tonight. I LOVED it, even if it is a bit schmaltzy. I cried in every episode, cried when Linda won the log chopping competition against the three finalists, cried when one big old guy took on the next oldest and next bigger old guy, lost once and took him on again and WON!!! This is definitely a winning formula show, and kudos to producer and host Phil Keoghan. Can't wait for the next one.

CBS is giving it a big vote of confidence (plus necessity)- Season 2 will start Wednesday Feb 10th (in the Survivor timeslot, as they're nowhere near starting filming on Survivor) https://twitter.com/PhilKeoghan/status/1336371962168274945

Anyone watch besides me? I like watching *real* people, not recruited ones, compete on this show. At least I don't think they were recruited.
