I am anxious to see the pros again, but really debating on watching it because of Tyra. Wonder if the pros will dance, but no personality / show otherwise?

Of course I only recognize three people: Kaitlyn, Jesse Metcalfe and Johnny Weir. I don't know if I can stomach Tyra Banks. I may give it a shot but it will be too weird.

I suspect many won't even take a peek at the new season after hearing that Carole Baskin has been added. My first thought was how much lower can they go which is too bad because the rest of the cast is pretty good.

And yes, Tyra is the new Excutive Producer.

I'll be giving this show a pass from now on. When I was watching the ad announcing the stars I recognized exactly 3...Johnny [Weir] <77>, Jesse Metcalfe (because of Hallmark movies) and Anne Heche (from Another World...yes I'm dating myself) none of which would entice me to stomach watching Tyra Banks as host. Shame they took a great show and drove it straight into the gutter.

I absolutely love Johnny Weir! He is so fun! But some of the others I find offensive, and most I haven't heard of. Can't stand Tyra Banks. I may have to boycott this season. There are more interesting shows to watch.

WOW, that is surprising to me, didn't realize Len had left the show.... I stopped watching years ago when it went from Dancing with the Stars to Dancing with Whoever was Popular and We could Get, LOL.

I don't think that Len left the show - according to the article he is unable to travel back and forth from England to the US like he was doing previously (I think he was judging two shows at once) due to the current travel restrictions. He will still be associated with the show in some way but not in the chair.

I was hoping Derek was going to replace Bruno. No matter, Derek is a good choice in my opinion because he is certainly knowledgeable and he has judged before.

I think Derek will give honest critiques. I like him as a judge on World of Dance. He's always trying to help the dancers improve their routines.

Derek will be fine. He was a judge on JLo's dance show on NBC and was very technical when talking with the dancers. On the downside, he gets a bit overly excited when he sees something he likes. That might get a bit tiring.

I don't know. It's sounding less and less like the Dancing With the Stars that we all know and (mostly) enjoy and more like a whole new show.

It's encouraging that he is enthused and may focus on technique.

I never watched Netflix' "Tiger King" or paid any attention to the story. Tonight I watched CBS' Suspicion. Carol Baskin on DWTS!! Whose idea was that??? Feel pretty sure new producer Tyra had something (a lot?) to do with that. DWTS going trashy? That's not the kind of "star" I want to see. Good possibility I will not watch.

So disappointed with the changes this year. Not a Tyra Banks fan at all. I will give it a try but don't know if I'll be able to keep watching. It's such a shame. For years I always looked forward to Monday nights only because of DWTS. Another show bites the dust!
