I was feeling kinda bad that Amani the aardvark was all alone and the only aarvark at the zoo, but I looked it up and even in the wild they like to live alone. I was a little relieved. She was so sweet.

That was funny! They do have to improvise a lot. Same thing for Dr Jeff and Dr K having to improvise for various exotic animals. I certainly enjoy all three shows.

The Slow Loris's were really cute and funny. Cracked me up how slowly they moved, and I thought Sloth's were slow, LOL.

The snow leopard story was good, so glad they got her walking ok and her mama was accepting of her leaving for a bit.

The same problem came up on Pit Bulls and Parolees recently.. They were called to rescue a pit bull that had two puppies. The pups developed swimmers and they had to devise ways to do therapy. Lots of work, but they were successful. We had one swimmer puppy but caught it early (2 pounds) and brought in indoor outdoor carpet and worked with him. I see on the next The Zoo.. Komodo Dragons!!!!

Ut oh, Ivy was kind of mean to Zeb (is that his name). But apparently it is normal behavior. The zookeepers seem to be excited that they now know each other and will try putting them back together later, LOL.

That baby monkey was smaller than a soda can. It was so cute.

Komodo Dragons eat other dragons, including their young. The smart young ones in the wild climb trees that wouldn't support the weight of an adult dragon. I love their exaggerated John Wayne walk.

The second new show is a "lookback" at some of the babies, I was thinking I had seen some of this before.

I had to laugh during the camel segment because it sort of felt like I was watching the animal version of "Dr. Pimple Popper." haha

I had already seen the baby animal show also...I think this is the second time it has aired. Loved Max and also loved how much the director of the zoo loved the camels. Does the building where they do the educational stuff bear the same name as the director's wife? Lamattina?
