Some of these baking shows are low energy (if we want to call it that) but I actually enjoy it. It’s a relief after all the screaming and obscenities on shows like Hell’s Kitchen etc.

Wow, watching Holiday Baking Championship and Nancy has now made her hair platinum! I like her better when she was more of a normal chef and not a hollywoodised person.

Where did they film last year? I know they had a tent but was it in the US? Maybe they are filming in the UK because of Paul? I was wondering also.

I think they filmed in England... they could easily re-create the tent kitchen in the US.
What I really like about the British version is the bakers get to go home during the week and practice then they come back to the tent and compete on the weekend... Wish they could do that here.

They are not airing the Baking Show tonight, and possibly not any more, due to allegations of sexual harrassment by Johnny Iuzzini (the Judge who isn't Paul).

Can't they just edit him out? They edited out Paulie from the BB barbeque. Or superimpose Mary Berry in his place? It's amazing the things production can do these days.
ABC does have experience in investigating sexual allegations. They had the whole Bachelor in Paradise thing.

Very lazy on their part.. I agree, it punishes totally innocent people, and the audience.
They really could make him disappear.
Too bad Mary wasn't on the show instead.

Wow I'm just hearing about this now. So we get punished for his behavior. I suppose a small price to pay. I'll never be mad at outing sexual harassers. I'll take not getting to see this season, although I feel bad for the contestants and the winner.

I am not concerned about *us* being punished. I am concerned about punishing the contestants, who took time out of their lives, away from their family, and poured their hearts into a competition that now will not be aired.

Probably just as well they pulled it now, before the other shoe drops. There are multiple stories out there about Paul's separation from his wife due to his extra marital dalliances. These include an admitted affair with his co-host on a previous season of the US show, Marcela Valladolid and a recent sighting of him kissing the winner of the last British season, Candice Brown.
