I don't care if he doesn't have "ballroom" experience. At the end of the day, he has an advantage that no one else has because he is a dancer. Every single person that has appeared on this show since I have started watching that has dance experience has gone far in the competition (with the exception of that girl last year). He was a whole lot easier to train than anyone else in the competition this year. And it absolutely sticks in my craw that they cast people with dance experience (which is why I vote for everyone EXCEPT the person who has dance experience). You've never heard any of the judges complain that he has no musicality, he waves his arms funny, he has bad form, etc. etc. etc. - because he has that advantage that no one else has. Dancing is dancing is dancing.

I agree that it's pretty easy to see how someone with Jordan's background would have a huge starting advantage over someone like Drew. But then again anyone with some sort of stage, music or artistic experience would have an advantage. I guess the question is how much of an advantage are we comfortable with.

Considering it is half the score is based on people voting on their favorite couple, there are so many ways to have an advantage on this show. If it was just based on dancing, Paige vanZant would have won her season. But Nyle, a deserving winner, was able to connect with the audience better and therefore get the votes needed to win. The casting people are hard pressed enough to find 12-13 people every season willing to commit 3 months in learning to dance and then be judged for it. So completely axing anyone with a dance experience would make it so much harder. And it is hard to find celebs that don't have at least some dance training either. And a competitor like Frankie or James Hinchcliffe, the ones that become really good over the season, make up about 1-2 people out of each cast. If they did not cast some people with dancing experience there is no way they would have last 25 seasons. As much as he grew on me this season. I still don't want to watch a season of Terrell Owen's. Or Nick Lachey's, yikes.

What was Whitney thinking?! that freestyle was horrible. She lost votes with that. she should have listened to the producer!

Oh now I loved Whitney and Frankie’s freestyle. I really enjoyed them all, but I would have to say I think Mark and Lindsey’s freestyle was my favorite.

The final three order was just as I suspected it would be. I am so glad that both Frankie and Jordan are going on tour. We have the champion and the people's champion going on tour. I am glad that Lindsay got her first mirror ball.

I'm happy with the results too. I really wanted Jordan to win. So cool that Frankie will get to tour with them. I'm so sad that the tour is not coming to my town!

The show is coming in early January to a casino near Toronto. I'm seriously thinking of going.

You should go Mameblanche -- I saw the tour when it came through town for last season's winner (the football guy). It was very enjoyable

Yeah Brenda, I think I'm going to look into it figure out what the date is & sort that out. I suspect I won't have any trouble finding friends to go with me. Although I would go on my own if I had to for sure.

Thinking about it -- Lindsey & Mark's freestyle really was impressive. Dancing was good of course, but especially in this case -- the choreography! The dance simply was Lindsey!

I agree that Lindsey and Mark's freestyle was impressive. There are a few dances over the years that I've watched more than once and that was one of them.

Mark Ballas continues to fascinate me with his choreography. I think he's a better choreographer than Derrick.

I think Lindsey's choreography is superb. I do too. I still don't like Mark much so good as his choreography may be, I'm not a fan. But his freestyle dance for Lindsey was her to a T !!
