<77> I think Lochte is an idiot, but I also think despite his age, like so many other professional athletes whose lives have been focused primarily on perfecting their sport, he hasn't had the life experience that many of us achieve by the time we reach his age. He's been living in a protective bubble where he didn't really have to grow up. He's getting that life experience now and in a huge and expensive dose. I do hope that he will learn...to dance and more specifically how to be an adult.

Yes of course the endorsements and most companies would have a clause to fire for behavior unbecoming.. which for some companies wouldn't be a very high standard.. but he also had $100 k in bonuses withheld by the Olympic committee.. which I am sure DWTS is paying him. I hope I get to watch soon..

Here's the list of what dance each pair is doing and to which TV show theme they are dancing to: http://www.people.com/people/mobile/article/0,,21030286,00.html?xid=socialflow_twitter_peoplemag On a side note, I wish they would wait to do theme nights until week 3. For the most part, those that did Latin dances last week are doing them this week, same for ballroom dances. That's my rant for the day. Sorry for the long post but I couldn't fix it and it won't let me delete it!

Dance? Actually I'm just going by what Time Warner is showing. Having the new BB looming ahead is making my head explode with all the fall shows starting. #TOOMUCH

Hmm, Tom just said (just after Derek and Marilu danced) next Monday night something about couples facing off on a fast paced ONE HOUR show. But that is next Monday.. Tomorrow still seems to be 2 hours.

My DVR shows a two-hour show tonight. The elimination show only needs to be five minutes as far as I'm concerned. I'm going to watch Below Deck and NCIS: New Orleans which starts back tonight. I'll check here in the a.m. for the results.

I have TiVo which merged with Rovi not long ago. Lately show synopsis have changed. Wording is different. And now usually guests on talk shows aren't given. Don't like that.

I think last night the judging was really telling on who they (judges or producers, do they get together and have a meeting? Seriously their comments and scoring are suspect to me. I am a jaded reality tv watcher!) I do enjoy the judges uplifting comments to the less experienced dancers (as opposed to being negative) I think they've been really kind to Amber Rose, and you can see on her face how their words help make a difference. But, am I the only one who thought they really gushed over Tara? Or did they judge her on different criteria, while I think they did well, accomplished a lot, I still saw flaws the judges did not. Carrie Ann was so darned excited I thought she was going to score Tara a 10! And while Len does try and say I'm just judging the dance, it was clear their is another criteria when he said their entertainment was good, aha I thought, they are judging on entertainment. They clearly are not going to keep Marsha long. Based on their lackluster comments and scores

This is the first season I just can't watch it. Same old, same old, especially from the judges. DWTS is tired.

After last night's show, I'm more convinced than ever that the Lochte thing last week was an ABC thing designed to get the show buzz. Conspiracy, I know, but still....they milked it for all it was worth. And I want to know who told Ms Hough that her dress was a good idea. She's so lovely, but that dress was a bad choice. Ms Andrews, OTOH, looked great

Erin's dress was beautiful (as is she), but the slight off-set of the neckline bothered me to death. It was so slight, I couldn't figure out if it was supposed to be centered and was just off kilter or if it was supposed to be like that. Just bugged me.

Yeah, if those were real protestors they sure did Lochte a favor and the network is milking it even on the nightly news. Having dancers wearing those tshirts.. forgiveness is wonderful and redenmption EARNED is too but he is basically being told he is too special. Oops.. didn't see you used the word "milked" but that is exactly what they are doing. I thought Terra was scored kind of high. There was one point where she was just stopped and her partner had to just step around her. I mean she certainly carried it off better than many and better than I would.

Watched part of tonight's live show, they did include lots of the. "behind the scene" talk. I only watched 2 or 3. With Ryan Lochte's they were pointing out every miss step, he was off beat, etc... Things I know nothing about, but it really makes me think he's not long for the show... But he survived tonight's eliminations, the former Disney Star of Waverlys Place, Jake was eliminated

Reader, did they dance tonight and get scores or what.. maybe I'm looking too early at Wikipedia but they do report the elimination of Jake. Isn't it The Wizards of Waverly Place? I have no idea why I know that.. never saw the show but ..

I found a recap.. all recap of the past two shows plus some pro numbers. No new dancing. I think I'll skip watching it.
