Tonight is part 1 of the finale. The performance finale and then next Monday is the results finale where they announce the winner.

I deleted DWTS from my DVR. I just don't care about any of the so-called "stars" they have this season. Ugh.

I didn't care for them giving Virgil & Jaja a contemporary routine. Nice seeing Zach return and that tap routine. Hailee ftw!

Gabby was my least fav going into last night's show. BOY! did she wow me! I'd say its between her and Yaya

What I missed this season was Sonya Tayeh. I think she only choreographed one dance this season and I really like the ones she had done in the past.

Since it's partially, maybe even largely, a popularity contest as well as a dance contest we'd not be surprised to see Jaja win. We think Gaby is probably the best dancer of the four but it's pretty close between at least Virgil, Jaja, and Gaby for who is overall the most entertaining to watch.

I wouldn't be upset with any of them. They are all great dancers. Leaning toward Gaby and Virgil. Also Jaja. Hailee is beautiful, but not as much of a favorite. I doubt she'll win.

I love them all but gave all my votes to Gaby. I enjoyed the street vs stage which totally surprised me.

The finale is on. Been enjoying seeing all the dances. Little Phoenix was very cute and talented. A kid's SYTYCD is an interesting thought, but it would be alot of pressure for them.

Our vote went to Gaby but actually thought on pure popularity Jaja would win. We're obviously very happy with the outcome. One of the better seasons in terms of overall quality though lacking some of the absolute over the top fantastic routines this year. Not to say there weren't some great ones just not quite the heart stopping, stand up in your family room and clap routines we've had in previous years.

Nobody made me cry this year. Usually there's one that makes me cry. I did get a little teary over the one with Alzheimers (Jaja and Alex, I think). My mother has dementia. Yesterday in her 6 mos. evaluation with the RN, she couldn't remember what a wristwatch was called when we pointed to it. Shocking and sad.

Was happy to see Gaby get the win. She was my pick from almost the beginning. I do have to say I could watch Jim forever. The one with Jim and Alex . . wow.

Amy Yakima is in Finding Neverland and Melanie (I forget her last name) who was in FN is now a daughter in the revival of Fiddler on the Roof. I don't think they are mentioned in the article.
