I suppose it's called "paybacks" for his treatment of her?

Rather a long time coming though. I wonder what caused her to speak out now.

I wondered the same thing too, Jimmer.
How did he treat her?

I don't recall anything specific from the article other than she found the experience miserable.

Hmmm...maybe she's missing being on the show and this is her way of being back in the spotlight...who knows? lol

Or maybe she is no longer under some contract that forces her to stay quiet.

Or.. someone finally asked.

If Ginger makes it farther than Paige it will be a shame. Just a shame in my opinion.

I thought everyone did a marvelous job this week, except Doug...sorry but he always looks wooden to me and seems to walk through the steps.

I like Ginger, but think it's no coincidence that she got Mark this week. I question how much of the viewers voting really counts on the switch up week.

I love the Switch Up week. Kinda makes me sad when they go back to their original partners, ha ha. For example, Jodie was SO GOOD this week with Val. (Maybe I just love those Chmerkovskiy brothers. )

They usually don't eliminate on switch night. Scoring was interesting tonight and Maks.. well gosh he seemed to be getting in digs on Keo and Karina.. who is his ex. and then he was judging his brother and his fiancée, plus their regular partners. And how did he and Bruno think they could switch paddles after scoring to give 10s?

Anyway, some of them clearly shined with the new partners and some had trouble.

I thought that song that Wanya and Lindsey danced the tango to was the most God-awful song I have ever heard performed on that show.

My thoughts on last night:
Keo needs to go as a pro. Jodie danced so great with a proper teacher. She even stated she felt so prepared with Val as opposed to Keo.

Was surprised, but glad, to see no elimination last night.

Nyle's dance was gorgeous. Thought it unfair that Max and Bruno held up 10 paddles after giving him 9 scores...gets someone's hopes up and then crashes down on them. It was definitely worth the 10's

I love it when Len gives a 10, he get a cheeky little grin and you know it's coming! LOL

Antonio needs to go, Doug needs to be next to go.

I'm constantly surprised by Kim Fields. She won't win but she's better than I expected. Unfortunately for her last night simply underscored that Keo is not up to snuff as a choreographer or instructor.

Didn't Keo win the South Africa version of DWTS?

I'm so confused! How do Maks & Bruno both forget that they wrote down 9's in less than 2 minutes??? It doesn't make sense to me. I can understand when the judges have sometimes held up the wrong paddle, but that didn't seem to be what happened last night. Maks seemed pretty insistent that he thought Nyle's dance was a 10.
seemed a little fishy to me.

Oh well, anyway, Nyle did a beautiful dance last night. I would've given him a 10. :-)

More than fishy. These shows make these things unnecessarily complicated.

I think Nyle has this locked up. He is an extremely good dancer and the emotional appeal is undeniable.

That whole thing was weird with the scoring and the paddles.

Nyle is this year's Bindi....

Nyle and Sharna was a really good switch-up combination. I thought it was interesting that Sharna really wanted to work with Nyle as a partner. Another thing, at one point, Max said that he and Nyle were friends. Nyle is really reminding me of Max dancing... I was wondering, because Max and Peta are engaged, if Max was helping out Nyle with the dancing. No knock on Peta, because she's awesome in her own right. It just made me wonder.

I think Jodie would go farther in the competition if she was not paired with Keo. It was clear last night being paired with someone else. Keo likes to make excuses......

Kim is fun to watch...

I expect Doug Flutie will go home next week. He's improved, but well below all of the others in skill and ability. Probably won't help that he has the support of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick either since most of the country hate them.
What I found concerning last night was Doug saying he has trouble remembering things and chalking it up to his age! He's only 53, hardly over the hill. Makes me wonder if he suffered any concussions while playing football that are now causing brain issues.

I had the same concerns Snoopsmom, re: his memory issues. Also, perhaps early onset dementia... (if so, also probably from concussions, or possibly hereditary.)

I had the same concern.. not so much dementia, though he does seem to have a temper.. little tantrums while learning.. but traumatic brain injury is absolutely and sadly possible.

Keo.. he started out this season seeming to have learned from the last two years, but he's slipping back into old and not good habits and I guess he hasn't been around for much of Len's judging.. out early and Len gone last season.

He certainly has a lovely accent but that will only get you so far.

I do think Maks got to know Nyle through Peta and I'm sure it would be impossible to hang out with them at all without giving him some pointers.. or giving her some.

Karina did NOT look happy at all with his criticisms of her choreography. And while he was right.. I'm sure she wanted to say.. look, I have to work with this particular person, who is new to dance and this is the first time I've worked with him, but she really couldn't.

There just seemed to be his favorite prof dancers and those who weren't..

The think with the 10 paddles.. Carrie Ann is the one who turns in the scores, I think, and the minute Maks held up that 10, she got a look on her face like OMG.. so you knew something was off. Then Bruno added his 10.

I wasn't impressed with the live music and was stunned when Len praised it the first time .. seemed difficult to dance to as well.

Agree that Nyle has it all.. the sympathy vote, but he doesn't need that because he dances well, is good looking and has a lovely personality!

Peta I'm sure is doing a good job adjusting to give him cues, but look how well he did with Sharna after just a week.. even if Peta gave pointers to her good friend Sharna.

Ginger's husband has a great sense of humor.. love watching him in the audience!

I think she desperately wants to be back on the show... Why come out with all of this after a couple of seasons?
