I was just thinking this morning that, since Derek is not there, Val would be her partner. Plus, I think he and Max have a studio in NY. So, she will not have to fly across country for the training. She's a kick, willing to try anything. I like her.

Tom Bergeron's mother passed away four months after his Dad's passing. He won't be on GMA on Tuesday as that is the day of his Mom's funeral. Here's a link to an article from Entertainment Weekly.

The articles seem to say that Nyle is the first deaf star but wasn't Marlee Maitlin on several years ago? I seem to remember her and her translator. Nyle is HOT. I actually watched America's Next Top Model because of him. I have to root for Doug Flutie. He's a BC product. Who can forget that Hail Mary pass? He grew up in the same town as one of my best friends.

Unless Keo gets his act together, Jodie won't be around too long.
I will miss Derrick, not a Peta fan at all, not a Keo fan, sort of neutral these days on Karina but not a huge fan. Not sure about Edyta.
None of the stars really get me excited but of course when they start dancing, ALL that could change. Hopefully I'll find several to be excited about.
I'm surprised they "forgot" about Marlee! When you go to claim a "first" it behooves you to at least do a quick search online.

He was.. He is one of the sweetest guys. He is deaf, but he could move in his model shots cause he could feel the music. I hope he does fantastic.
