Oh cool, thanks for setting this up Kitt. I thought it was the show that Duff Goldman is judging, but that has already started so it must be another show.

Got hooked on the British version and was disappointed when it was over. I'm looking forward to this!

I'm worried it won't have the charm of the British version but have it set up to record, of course.

But it will have Mary Berry, who can always find something nice to say even about a dish that tastes bad. She's Miss Charm her self.

I can't wait! I've been watching the Holiday Baking Championship with Duff and the 2 lady judges while waiting but there's something just off about it and I can't explain it. I loved the American Baking Competition a few years back and really don't care if Paul Hollywood had an affair. That's between him and his wife. There was something both charming and positive about the set up of the show that I really enjoyed and don't find on the Holiday Baking Championship. Looking forward to Mary and crew!

I hope the commentators are as funny as the two women in the British version. I watched the show as much for them as for Paul, Mary and the contestants.

I can't get my British Baking Show on youtube anymore! :-( They have pulled all of them! lol, seriously I know there was a Holiday British Baking Show, but it was pulled (originally I was thinking that was the show we were going to watch, but after doing some googling, it should be an interesting American version!) Paul had an affair! oh dear!

Very similar to the show hosted by Jeff Foxworthy. Sorry I can't remember the name, but I liked it.

I really liked it, it was just like the British baking show!!! They didn't scream and yell at the contestants, just gave them helpful critiques. Very enjoyable.

It was on too late for us all to watch last night but we have it recorded. My DD loves baking!

They even did it in the original stately home! I saw the weather and I immediately knew it was England! If Mary Berry won't come to you, come to Mary Berry! This is a much better version than the one they did before with Jeff Foxworthy, which somehow didn't get the pacing or tone of the program right. I really enjoyed it, just a shame there won't be too many episodes.

I enjoyed it, too! I was afraid they wouldn't be as peaceful as the British one, but it was very nice. I wish it was longer, too. Nice to see Johnny! I just love Mary Berry. I guess there were some that didn't like the show. That's too bad. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3340934/Mary-Berry-flops-Great-Holiday-Baking-dubbed-poor-knock-GBBO-slam-use-word-awesome.html

While I enjoyed it I wondered how many people had actually applied if they were they top 6. Nia and Ian were ok, no Sue and Mel, but they've had lots of practice. I do like the original Brit version and hope PBS shows more of them.

Oh my goodness, what a lot of sourpusses in that article! If they don't like it they don't have to watch! I thought it was a nice little bit of Bake Off before Christmas.

The article does get more positive farther on but that's not much help. We enjoyed it a lot. Nice show.

I don't see it repeated, and it's not on On Demand, although the British version is. Maybe it will show up later.

I think ABC has an eight day wait until it goes on demand, so it might be there from next Tuesday.

Really? I thought most shows were up the next day, but I admit I haven't checked by network. I record most things, because with OnDemand you still have to watch commercials.

They used to be, but they've started adding delays. It's really frustrating, if I miss something surely it's in their best interest if I'm able to catch up and then continue watching. Here's ABC rules, they're a lot like Fox, who've been playing the wait game for longer. http://tvline.com/2014/01/02/abc-limits-next-day-streaming-of-episodes/
