I couldn't find this show listed here. I hope it is ok to put it under Reality Shows. I really like this show. I like the family dynamics. I think she is overprotective of son Larry. I can't believe she followed him to the bar he goes to with his friends after work. lol

I really like this show too! It's so hard for me to wrap my head around all the pain that people have and hold onto...my heart aches for them. As for Theresa, she's a hoot!

I am glad somebody else is watching! The show where she went into the prison was very moving. Even Larry was crying over the girl's letter.

I also watch The Long Island Medium. Theresa has a gift that indeed brings healing and peace. Also, the episode where she visited with women in prison was very moving and amazing. Did you hear that the Caputo's lost Petey? I felt so bad for them because they love their dogs like family. I don't have a link but I'm a fan club member and I received an email from Theresa's assistants giving members this information. I joined her fan club for a year to try it out but I don't think I'll continue when my membership expires soon.

Is Petey the big dog or the little dog?

The big dog. Louie is the little dog.

I watched the episode where Petey was put to sleep. Poor Larry, it was very hard on him.

I watched too and my heart was breaking for Larry. Theresa was definitely hurting as well but she was strong for Larry. BTW, Theresa did send out an email to her fan club members telling us that she does feel Petey's spirit which gives her much comfort. Petey knew it was time to leave and Larry continues to move forward but will never forget his Petey.

I have gotten messages and images from dogs that have passed. They are happy. I am watching a show from 2012 right now. A grandmother found out that the soul of her daughter, who had died many years ago at age 2, was now in her granddaughter. Teresa said that rarely happens. The grandmother said she always felt that was true.

That is so comforting that you have gotten messages and images from dogs that have passed and that they are happy. What a very special gift. I believe I get a wet nose tap from one of my fur babies who passed suddenly a few years back. It doesn't happen often but when it does I thank him for visiting me. On occasion, I also see another one of our deceased dogs in my dreams and she is always so happy. I've never shared this fact before but it feels nice to share with you Dogdoc.

Hello! I'm new here. I love having a place to gather to discuss several different reality shows! That said, have any of you seen Long Island Medium in action? I went to the local casino when she (and Larry) were there. Very disappointed. She was "off" and spent inordinate amounts of time reading 3 people during the 2 hour show. Very definitely cold reading and fishing - very forced. Larry came off as very annoyed with attention. I really like Theresa, but she left me more skeptical than before I saw her in action.

Welcome to TVCH Mairi! I've never seen Theresa in person and your accounting is the first time I've heard about Theresa in action at one of her "shows". I think if I encounter what you encountered then I'd be left feeling skeptical as well.

Yes, welcome Mairi Egbok, my visits were not from my own dogs. There have only been a couple of them. One of them, a deceased collie, showed me himself romping around in big circles on a green hill. I was at a friend of a friend's house where there was one of those box frames with a picture of the dog and his chain collar in it plus a written ode to him. He called attention to the collar and said he never liked it because it messed up his beautiful hair. He told me he loved to get baths because he was even more beautiful when he got one. He also said he didn't like being cooped up in that box. My friend, who knew the dog, said he had been put to sleep at a very young age because of arthritis. I guess he wanted to show me how happy he was. My friend said she would tell the owners what he said. (I don't know what they thought about it)

I like the new season of Long Island Medium. I hope the daughter doesn't take the dog to college. I don't think she will take good care of it.

I guess I am the only one watching this show, or at least the only one to want to talk about it. I think it is great what she is doing, bringing messages to those who have lost loved ones. Last night a gramma said the dog was with her in heaven.

Dogdoc, I watch this show too. I am a believer in her gift to give these messages to people. I know this show is edited and I wonder how much we don't get to see/hear when she's doing a 30 minute reading. I think the editing shows the meat and potatoes of the reading but leaves out bits and pieces that I would love to see/hear. I also have been watching Henry Tyler, the Hollywood Medium. This kid is gifted as well. I missed last night's show but I'm sure I'll catch it soon. I love that a dog was in heaven with the gramma. I hope to see all my passed furbabies doggies someday.

I like the show, I think she is funny but I don't believe she or any other medium is real. I think it is all parlor tricks.

I was sorry to read that Theresa and Larry have separated. I remember a show a couple of years ago when Larry and the kids planned a surprise wedding vow renewal for her.

Long Island Medium has started to be a little like "Undercover Boss" Twice now, in the newer episodes, she has given money to someone in need that she was reading.

When she was talking to the mother of the little 3-year old girl who had passed I was bawling my eyes out.

New show last night. In one scene, Theresa and her family got into a limo to go to the city for a graduation dinner. Little Larry's girlfriend just got her Master's degree. They were sitting on benches running along the two sides of the car, facing each other. How horrible for those who were in the accident. All I could think of was the limo crash in New York.

So did Teresa and Larry get back together? Or is it still undecided? I was switching channels and noticed Teresa either has a new hair-do or a new wig. It was much more flattering than her usual Teresa do.

I just can't watch these shows. These "mediums" are such phonies taking advantage of people. The Long Island Medium has been exposed as a fraud so many times, but she just keeps trucking along. I can't even look at it as entertainment like I used to after seeing interviews with people hurt by people like this.

I also watched last night's new episode and yes, sadly, Teresa and Larry will be getting a divorce. Teresa seems settled with life without Larry but admitted that she was still learning about all the little things that must be done in the house that Larry used to do, like emptying the trash. So it appears that her dad comes over to help her out with the little things and he likes it because it keeps him busy. Larry is living in Los Angeles. They showed a snippet of Teresa meeting up with Larry in L.A. because she was there for an event. They didn't really show any of the conversation between then but their facial expressions were obvious that they felt odd seeing one another. According to Teresa, it's been months since they saw each other face to face. With that said, Teresa hopes that Larry will come out to NY and be included in future family event/gatherings....like the limo event to the restaurant to celebrate Little Larry's gf's Master's degree.
