A&E's "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" Returns on Monday, May 28 for its 7th season.
I had never seen this show until last fall, so all winter long this was my treadmill show. I was able to catch up on all the seasons from the daily reruns.

Is anyone else watching Meet The Hutterites? It's a new show on National Geographic about 16 families who live in a Montana Colony. They are sort of like the Amish, but are educated in German schools. It's a very interesting show about lives led in America that I had never heard of before. I'm also watching Amish-Out of Order which is a good program.

I still watch Gene Simmons show. I don't really like when they talk with the therapist. And really Nick and Sophie are what make the show interesting. The episodes without them, not so much.

"Dog Whisperer" had 2 new eps last night on NatGeo Wild channel and I didn't even realize it until I checked today. I figured it was just my guides's horrible episode labeling causing my dvr to record more old eps. They were labeled as new season 9, eps 1 and 2. He was in England for both of the eps. Both eps were really good and are being rerun many times. There's another new ep next week, too.

Anyone watch Ready For Love last night? I don't watch Bachelor / Bachelorette shows. Thought I'd try this one. Made it through about two minutes. NO thank you.
Tim Lopez has a slight connection to here. Band Plain White Ts was started by guys at my high school (many years after I graduated  ). I live closer to the school now than I did back in the day. Tim isn't from this area though.

I liked it but I thought 2 hrs was too much. Hopefully next week will only be an hour. I felt bad for the girl that he knew being eliminated.

Lakecat, I felt bad for her too, but I think he was smart it letting her go -- especially if he thought their chance had passed. No sense stringing her along. Plus, I think it would have caused silly drama.

I think it is WAY WAY too long, hate the "coaching" and the competition between matchmakers. I'm not a fan of the Rancics as well.
I may leave it on the DVR schedule but if it lines up with anything else I want to watch, it is gone and I kind of doubt that I'll watch it next week.
The guy this week seems nice enough and talented and all but this didn't engage me and I found myself playing it in background mode.

I really wanted to like this show, but the way the Matchmakers were in the last 30 minutes, and the way the Rancics treated Leah turned me off. Likely won't watch again.

I watched two episodes of
(oops, a Ready for Love preview.. looks terrible and Giuliana is shown making strange faces.. ack.)
Anyway, back to my post.. I watched two eps of the new reality show where they put seniors and 20 somethings are put into a house together.. and actually found myself enjoying it for the most part.
