Joe & the sand painting is amazing, but it is the same thing over and over again.

We suggested it months ago, Joe paints while Wililam Close is playing the Earth Harp.

I really wanted to see Dittleman's next trick.
And the comedy of Todd Oliver was getting better & better.
Gonna miss those dancers. Reminded me of Jabberwocky.

Too bad Dittleman and Todd Oliver did not go through. Although he is talented, I do not think the sand artist could be a headline act.

Who went thru? and please please don't say Turf.

I'm assuming Tom Cotter and William Close....

My favorites:
David Garibaldi (painter)
All That (cloggers)

Now I'm torn.
I love the Light Dancers but wasn't impressed last night.
So that leaves me with Tim Hockenberry (the best singer of the night) and The Untoucables (young dancers).
None of these three will win the competition but may deserve to go through.
Turns out our broadcast of the results won't show up until Thursday night.

Last night sure was entertaining! I really enjoyed this episode.

I too thought Tim was the best singer of the night but I don't want a singer to win, we have enough singing talent shows.

I really enjoyed the Magician, the young dancers and the dog act.

About the magic act. Too slow. Seen the same act done much faster.
I know exactly how it was done (although I'm more familiar with these).
There were better magicians last year that didn't even make it to the finals.

We don't want a singer either.
Dogs were entertaining, but in the end the act is repetative (to me).

Top 4:
Untouchables.
Dog Show
(America's top 2)

Comes down to Lightwire & David G - Sharon went with Lightwire, Howie chose David G. Howard loves Lightwire but said he'd rather watch the painting so David Garibaldi is the last finalist.

According to Prince Poppycock things went "horribly wrong" and he couldn't perform.

I am soooo confused by this show. NBC has is on so often, I can't tell if its a rerun or a new show. I'm not sure who has gotten how far and how much longer is the show on. Just confusing to me!

Maybe PP will be there on the finale show next week?

Kooklie - finals is next week. Wednesday night the six finalists compete....
Tom Cotter (comedian),
William Close (earth harp),
Joe Castilo (sand painting),
David Garibaldi (painting/dancing group)
Untouchables (children dance group)
The Olate Dogs (animal act)

Two hour result show on Thursday with guest stars that include Justin Bieber (according to my TV Guide). This is Sharon's last show.

Funny - performance finale is 1 hr.
Results show will be TWO hours (gag me, so much filler)....unless we get Prince Poppycock! That would be okay with me.

I'm not enthralled by the final acts at all. The earth harp is nice, but needs something to be a total act, the sand painting has been done so many times before, the painting/dancing is still a bit blah for me, and Tom Cotter is amusing enough but not that special.

I love the dog act, and I love the Untouchables, but other than those two I'm not sure I've been so bored by the (prospect of) an AGT finale show before.

Need to combine Earth Harp with the Sand Painting.

Tom Cotter is funny, but not $1 million funny.

Not loving animal acts; and pre-teen dance troupe has limited viability as a Vegas show (that is how we judge AGT - can it stand alone as a headliner here in LV).

David Garibaldi's painting/dancing has the potential. And the resulting artwork could sell in a shop outside the theater (and Tshirts with popular designs).

My vote would be:

1. Dogs (consistently good)
2. little dancers (although this week was their worst performance)
3. Earth Harp (their best performance so far)
4. Tom Cotter (his best performance so far)
5. Painter/dancers (second week with a not so good painting)
6. Sandman (yawn)

but of course I didn't actually vote ;)

My vote would be:

1. Olate Dogs
2. Tom Cutter
3. Earth Harp
4. Untouchables
5. David Garibaldi (painters)
6. Joe Castilo (sand painter)

I agree with Kona that Joe Castilo and Earth Harp should combine their talents!

Love the Olate dogs! AND yes, Joe Castilo and Earth Harp should combine their talents. Oh what a show that would be!

Anybody watch the finale? I recorded it and watched it late. This show has way too many commercials, so that way, I can fast forward.

I really thought William Close had this but I was very happy to see the dogs win. :-) They really had a good group of finalists and no singer for a change.

I was hoping for Tom to win but I'm alsook with Olate Dogs winning, I liked them too.

I fast forwarded through most of the finale; it was commercials, replays and performers I didn't know and/or didn't like their type of music.

I too fast forwarded through most of the finale. Last night did Sharon actually get to keep that dog?

I was sitting in the hospital waiting for a procedure and the waiting room had the Today Show on. They had the Olate Dogs on. They only did a little piece of the act. I thought it was nice and the dogs were cute. I can see the act in Vegas in a family themed show.
