Alison was, as usual, very good. My top two favorites were Laith and Hannah. Thought both did an outstanding job. Also enjoyed Mary Sarah and Adam.
Alison was the only one to get in ITunes top 10...she was 6.
Only one to not even make it into the top 200 was Daniel.

Hmm, that would say that those voting or tweeting to save aren't the same demographic as those who use iTunes. I find I do watch, maybe not the same night, I tend to fast forward and simply am not as invested in who stays or goes since voting is through social media where I suspect many people just jump on a bandwagon and vote as requested by others online.. often without watching the show...
The good thing, I guess, is that a few people with some talent get national exposure, coaching and practice that has to be helpful to them.
So.. will Daniel need to be saved tonight? Will he be saved?

Heard an entertainment news story on the radio today that Adam is leaving the show after this season to spend more time with his family.

That makes sense. His wife is having a baby and he tours almost every year. I'll miss seeing him every week.

Wow.. we knew that Christina was off next season and that Miley and Alicia Keys would be judge/mentors but I guess I thought Pharrell was the one taking off, not Adam.
But Adam does have a baby to think of.
The announcement in March, they said Miley and Alicia would join Adam and Blake for season 11. I wonder if Adam means to take season 12 off?
But I do see reports that he is leaving, one says because of Miley and/or because of the baby..
Could be the beginning of the end..

On the iTunes Chart....Adam #9, Laith #10 and Mary Sarah #11 and the rest further back with Nick in last place. I see Nick and Paxton or Shalyah in B2.

I was surprised that Alison was 6th down the list. Surprised....but not disappointed. She seemed to scream her song last night and I just wanted to plug my ears. LOL!!
So glad that Adam, Laith, Mary Sarah and Hannah were at the top of the list as they are my favorites.
Does anyone know who is picking the songs for them to sing? The coaches or the singers? I think there have been so many wrong song choices this season....so just wondering.
I love Blake, but was not impressed with him and Gwen singing together. JMO.

I'm sorry...but I think Alisan was saved because of her story...I don't think her performance was stronger than either Nick or Paxton's. Like someone said up thread...she screamed that song I wasn't impressed.

Did they say next week was semi-final? If so, then 4/5 will be eliminated? If so (again), I hate that! They need to spend less time on the beginning stuff and let the top 12 have more time to get a following.

I really like Paxton.
So.. Blake still has all three in the race.. that will certainly change next time.. just about has to..
Alisan is good but playing the mommy card.. well no.. wasn't it drugs that kept you out of the limelight for so long? It IS a great comeback for sure, and Laith is really a good performer as well as a talent but there are others I appreciate as well.

I would love to see Laith win. I think he's the complete package, and he has such a beautifully rich voice.
I also like Adam a lot, too. I thought he sounded really good this week.
I've never listened to Paxton perform, but his smile & attitude are so great that he's become my 3rd favorite.
