I thought Barrett would be 4th. but understand how Jeffrey was 4th. because last week he had to be saved to stay. I think the country folks split their votes between Barrett and Emily. If only they were unified Emily might have won but it was a given since the first appearance of Jordan that he would win. It's kinda boring when you know who's going to win...No real surprises.

I was watching the debate so I didn't watch the show yet. I just zoomed to the end to see who won. Yay for Emily Ann! Considering the crazy support for Jordan, I really feel like Emily Ann also won I'm not going to watch the whole show until tomorrow, but while I was FFing through the show, was that Glen Campbell I saw zoom by?

I'm so disappointed. I wanted Jeffrey to win. Can't believe he was fourth.

Fell asleep, so I am just now learning who won, happy for that young man. His life has changed dramatically.

I just don't understand the Emily Ann love. I'm not hearing with others are hearing. I thought she was horrible and should have been gone weeks ago. 2nd place? Really? Wow. So happy Jordan won. I knew he'd win the first time I heard him sing in the blind auditions. His Chandelier was amazing. Great job Jordan!

I fell asleep too & didn't find out the winner until this morning. I also don't understand the Emily Ann love. She's a cute gal & all but I don't know how she got as far as she did. I think the right person won but feel Jeffrey should have been 2nd & Emily Ann 4th.

Cute country singers often do well on The Voice. Blake has a big following, country music fans are very loyal and focus on Blake's singers whereas the rest split the votes and she is a cute gal and all (as Texasdeb said). There is more to The Voice than the voice. Sad thing is that they never produce a full out star so it's probably a moot point anyway.

Managed right, Jordan could easily become a 'male' Adele type singer. But, as you said, they never produce a full-out star.

Blake has a huge following & he is so likable. Jordan could be huge as far as recorded music but he isn't entertaining enough to do concerts IMO.

Blake may have a huge following and country music fans may be loyal but I liked Emily Ann for Emily Ann. There is more to the Voice than THE voice I agree.. but then look to the winner.. super nice guy and I'm certainly happy for him.. great voice but not huge on the performance score. I really am not surprised and definitely happy for Jordan.. Kind of wish it wasn't Adam as his coach. He will be insufferable about it for years. I hope he also continues to mentor Jordan. Anyway the season, predictable as it was, is now wrapped.. It sure was a bloated evening though. That first hour of course was total repeat and then two hours of lots of performances with almost no time for the winner at the end. Glad his parents got to come up with him.

Jordan Smith sang the national anthem at the Seahawks-Panthers game this morning. They said he was a RCA recording artist. He did well.

I guess I heard wrong. I heard David Foster was going to work with him, but Foster is with Universal.

The 22-year-old recently engaged winner of The Voice is currently working on an album with 16-time Grammy winning record producer and musician David Foster. Well, David has crossed label lines before. It is just that he is in management of part of Universal.
