This week's performance night marks American Idol's 500th episode!
It's hometown visit week.
The final 3 will be singing 3 songs each.
“Judges’ Choice,” “Randy’s Choice” and “Hometown’s Choice”.
Also, the results night will be one hour long, and Season 10 winner Scotty McCreery will performing.

I can see by last week's thread, the Caleb fans are hardcore.
I would like to say that while I expect Caleb to win, he is definitively not my favorite. He sounds great, but his personality and physical sloppiness are a turnoff for me.
My guess for final 3 order is:
Caleb - Win
Jena - 2nd
Alex - 3rd

Just remember that there have been seasons where a contestant was thought to be the winner and someone else won.

I think it could be anyone, I don't think anyone has been in the bottom three since that very early time with Jena, so we don't really know how popular any of them actually are.
What I particularly like is I think all of them are worthy of the final three, and there's no one who's particularly handsome or cute or whatever that would attract a teenage vote more obsessed with image than talent.
It wouldn't surprise me if it's closer than we think.

Caleb has the disadvantage tonight with the vocal problems. He's doing a great job, in spite of. Seems like they were all shaky on their first selections...nerves I'd guess

I thought the whole night was good. The only thing that bugged me was they put my girl Jena in some really awful fitting capri pants during "Titanium".

I'd guess one of the ways they've cut costs is by cutting the wardrobe consultants. I haven't noticed them wearing anything "stage worthy" this entire season.

2 hr season finale is next Wed. for Survivor followed by the after show. Since Survivor is my all time fav. reality show, that's where I will be. I'll be on here so I hope we have folks willing to spoil.

Can't believe all these finales are the same night! NOOO! I'll be watching later, too. Have to watch Survivor first.

It bothers me that during several performances, namely Caleb's last performance, the camera was on J Lo dancing as much as Caleb. I didn't like it when she was encouraging the audience to stand up during the performance. I think she shouldn't show so much favoritism. And when she wears the super short dresses, I'm sure all of the kids in the front row can see right up her dress.
