I liked Cody but all you heard last night was the choir backing him. I am surprised about Dez going. I thought the younger girls would keep him for sure.

I really liked Cody too. Oh well, there can be only 1 winner. Everyone is good & all but 1 will get eliminated.
I was really liking Christina this season. Too bad, she can't pick winners!
A battle of the 3 male mentors: each having 2 folks left..........could get interesting! I favor Blake's 2 & Ceelo's Nick over the other 3.

I love Nick. I thought he did Marvin Gaye proud last night. One of my favorite songs so it's hard for me to like a new rendition, but Nick did a great version, IMO.
I think my 2nd pick would be Cassadee (I don't know if I spelled that right--I know she spells it differently).

Nick went 1st & he was good - IMO, not as good as he's been the last cpl wks though.
Cassadee went 2nd. Christina is rooting for her now. She did really good - IMO, better than Nick. She really hit some hard notes.

Amanda went 3rd & she was good as usual. IMO, not her best - but still really good.
Terry went 4th & did IMO, his best yet! Wow! All he had was a piano & base player. No doubt that he clearly is the best of the night so far.

Two go home tomorrow. I think Nick and Melanie are going home. Melanie got cheated by the backup props on the second song. It was just silly.
On the other hand Blake Shelton's Christmas show is on now. Looks funny.

I haven't been following the show so I haven't developed any sort of affection for any of the contestants. I finally decided to check it out starting last week and while they are all decent performers I'm not exactly wowed by any of them.

That's exactly what I thought about Melanie's second song. Those props were ridiculous. Time for her to leave. Not sure who the second one will be. Voted for Cassadee. Time for a woman to win.

Nick singing Over the Rainbow had me crying. Loved it.
Melanie is just like a cartoon character. I keep expecting strings to pop out like she is some cute marionette. Her voice is nothing spectacular.
Cassadee is good but I hear so many pitchy parts in her singing. She did do well tonight though.
Trevon impressed me with his And I Am Telling You. I first thought, oh no, but he did beautifully. Much better than his Walking on Sunshine.
I hope that it's Melanie and Amanda that leave this week.
