a half hour into the show and so far a destruction of a Beatles song and Lisa Marie Presley performs a song that can only be described as what happens to you when you are on seconol.

Maris..I agree about Lisa Marie. That was horrible. She was on something but Seconal sounds good.

OMG, I am amazed the Joshua is gone. I truly believed it would be a Joshua and Phillip finale. Either one winning would have been fine with me.
Now, I am totally determined to vote, vote, vote....for Phillip. I do not want to see Jessica win this!!!!!

best part of the whole show was Joshua's finale song. he sang Its a man's world, brought his mother on stage, brought hte house down.

Haven't been all that interested in this season and haven't watched religiously. Would have been mildly interested in seeing a Joshua/Phillip finale. Jessica/Phillip, just don't care enough to even tune in.

Wow, Maris. My thoughts exactly. For me, it was what Jessica did to the song with all those runs up an down, ruining the melody. UGH. I love the Beatles and hate when they turn their music into lounge lizard music.
I am so glad Phillip made it, but kind of a cross between disgusted and amazed that Jessica made it through. I would have loved to see Joshua and Phillip at the end. Not Jessica.

I'm hoping and praying the the votes that would have gone to Joshua will now go to Phillip. Anyone but Jessica! If the sentiment is in agreement on these boards regarding Jessica then I suggest we all get in our votes "against" her.

I blame JLo for this travesty! If she'd only let Jessica go when America voted her out, we wouldn't be stuck with a singing stick and yet ANOTHER white boy with a guitar. Don't even think I can watch the finale this year. I'm just sick. Ugh!!!

Not too sure how I feel about the final 2. There really wasn't anyone I liked that well.
Lisa Maria...horrible...horrible...horrible. I'm sorry, just because your last name is Presley doesn't mean you can sing because what you did last night was not singing.

I'll be voting for Phillip just so the judges won't be able to say for years how they saved Jessica and she won. "See how smart we are?" kind of stuff.

If Jessica wins this then I'll know for certain this show is fixed. I fail to see where she is the "best thing I've ever heard", as the judges put it. I've heard a lot of singers in my day and Jessica is far from the best I'VE ever heard. No way she should win this. At least Phillip Phillips, while not the greatest singer, is at the least his own person and I think could go far. Bob Dylan never could sing either, yet look at how big a star he was/is. Bruce Springsteen can't sing enough to carry a tune in a bucket, yet he's a mega-star. I'm behind Phillip all the way
