Rslover, Steven said in the bleep "you came out and sang like you just didn't give a shit". It wasn't anything too bad.

Started watching late so I could FF through all the commercials. I LOVED Phillip's first song. Jessica and Joshua were ok. I can't believe Stephen told Jessica he thought she'd win. In the 2nd round I didn't like either Jessica or Joshua. I thought they both butchered their songs. Imagine is one of my favorite songs and I was so excited at first. I'm waiting to hear Phillip who is coming up next.

I thought Bob Seger's We've Got Tonight was perfect for P2.

They didn't seem to care for PP's version of Rob Thomas's Disease. I actually thought it was good and got up to dance to it.

I think Phillip was the best tonight. (and yes I love him) I had a friend over who is a big Jessica fan and she was so disappointed in her tonight and also said that she felt Phillip did the best.

I think Phillip was the best tonight, too, Mamie. Anyone that can make me enjoy a Bob Seger song as much as I enjoy the original deserves to win

I checked Dialidol and they have been right on the past few years when there are 3 left. It looks like P2 will win, Joshua takes 2nd. and Jessica goes home tomorrow but the west coast is just starting to vote. We will see, hope DI is right about Jessica.

I've never voted this season but tonight I felt compelled to vote for Phillip . . .which I did over and over and over again.

I've been seeing where a lot of people gave all their votes to Phillip last night. All my friends on FB who watch AI commented on him and how they gave him their votes. The blogs I've read seem to be favoring him as well. Naja, I re watched his performance this morning in a video clip and it sounded even better than last night. I love Bob Seger and I loved Phillip's version of that song.

I'd have to go with Phillip as most enjoyable as well. Note that I said "most enjoyable" which may be different from best singer. Randy and his wow moments. I know what he means but it's so AI.

Yeah, I always have to go with "most enjoyable" over what many consider "best singer". If I don't resonate with the performer, then I don't care for them. Jessica is a beautiful singer, technically, but she does nothing for me. I thought Joshua did well last night and liked seeing him in his hometown because he showed more personality. But, I love Phillip and am happy to read so many of you love him and voted for him. I think he is the one who will do just fine whether he wins or loses.

LOL...I read this morning that the WGWG (white guy with guitar) was likely to win once again. Sounds like it was a good night for Phillip.

I did not like Jessica singing I'll be there. It was very weird. I love Phillip but honestly he doesn't seem to even want to be there Jessica and Joshua seem to think they both have this in the bag which was very off putting to me. I miss Hollie.

Jessica and Joshua seem to think they both have this in the bag which was very off putting to me. Bama, I think the judges had a something to do with that. I do agree with you. I think Phillip was the most emotional and taken back by the crowds that came out to see him at his home visit. That makes him more endearing to me.

Jimmer, I'm with you on going with the "most enjoyable". Jessica and Joshua don't keep my attention when they are singing. During Joshua's Mary J Blige song, I told my kids if I heard that on the radio, I would change the channel. Just too much screaming and not my style.

Maineiac, I agree re: Phillip. Reminded me of Elliott Yamin going home his year. I haven't voted often but when I have it's been for Phillip. Couldn't get through much last night.

I love John Lennon's Imagine. Joshua did a good job, but the best was done by David Archuleta a few years back...Good comment Dke1212 about Phillip and Elliot Yamin, always one of my favorites, for being humble. I think Phillip's last song was the first "WOW" moment I've had all year....just somethingelse.

Treading delicately here. I love Imagine as well and a song is just a song but I wonder if it is the sort of song that would appeal to Joshua's supporters, considering that the lyrics seem to be somewhat anti-religious and socialist?

Maine I do agree that the judges have a lot to do with it. I guess I just don't get all the praise from the judges. There were so many great singers this season and I really don't think Jessica and Joshua are that much of a stand out.

Well, I'm a Joshua supporter and I loved it. Jessica has no personality or emotion when she sings, and Phillip x2 sounds the same with every song he sings. And he sings persistently flat. I would be happy to see either Jessica or Phillip go home tonight. I'm hoping it will be Jessica (take that, JLo!). DH has been saying for weeks that P2 will win because the little girls love the cute boy with the guitar. I hope he's wrong!
