I haven't watched all of last night's show (but now I will so that I can see Colton's performance) but I have noticed this year that they have upped the performance and sometimes the stage is just downright crowded...for instance they seem to be big on having musicians on the stage alongside the artists like they were singing with a band or something...I like that in a concert but not sure that it is the best for AI - aren't we supposed to be judging the performance of the individual? I did enjoy the trios last night though.

I think Elise or Joshua will go tonight. Elise because she doesnt have the fan base and I really liked her performance last week and Joshua because his performance yesterday was weak.

I liked Nicki Minaj when she first came out but I've kind of gotten sick of her, and her performance (was it at the Grammys?) the last time I saw her was horrible. I am looking forward to seeing Scotty though.
I agree that Skylar is a lot stronger as a pure country artist than Lauren Alaina. I was a little surprised that Lauren went so country last year, as previously I thought she was more rock and roll during her auditions (didn't she sing an Aerosmith song with Steven?).

Loved Phillip yet again. I knew that Stevie would love him. Being told that he would have been asked to be in Fleetwood Mac was quite the compliment.

I'm glad that Philip sang a Jonny Lang song, I've thought from the beginning he sounded like Jonny Lang, not so much like Dave Matthews as the judges kept saying. So far he is the one I'm rooting for.
The rest of the singers are all very good, unlike other seasons, but I'm not loving them.
