This season has been so depressing. We had the stupid roast, We had her crying through Bently's leaving. Then last week she was down on her dates... This week, the dates bombed. Stupid to have the guys boxing each other and then everyone depressed because Ames got hurt. Then the 2 on 1 was not fun at all. So boring!

That whole chat between Ashley and Bentley was soo staged. She wouldn't just, out of the blue, say to CH "Oh I wish I could have Bentley in the same room with all the guys I have left" -- Come on!

Honestly, she isn't handling any of this well, she simply lacks the maturity.

Ben and constantine look like they could be brothers, both have long oval faces, big teeth, wavy dark hair. Ryan P is like one of those annoying, super positive motivational speakers. Lucas is kind of like that, and he's Texas -- no way she's moving there, so cut him already. Mickey I don't feel I know enough about. Aames is setting off my gaydar now. JP looks like he'd be really cute with hair. LOL. Right now Blake is moving up as someone cute and interesting.

I think the guys really wanted to leave after hearing that Ashley still has the hots for Bentley. But Chris put an end to the walkout because as you all know the show must go on and they probably enticed them with more $$$$. No offence to Ashley but she seems like such a bore and besides that she seems socially ignorant.

LOL - I think the producers must hate Ashley. The not funny roast, the Bentley fiasco and now they had her guys beating each other up. It makes for sort of a macabre comedy but there hasn't been a lot of romance.

Ashley didn't even watch the last two bachelors battle it out. She was on a search mission for help for poor Ames.

I erased last night's Bachelorette after watching about 20 minutes and deleted the series recording. Hallelujah. I couldn't suffer through another episode. Why I was making myself watch a 2-hour show that I can't stand I don't know. The second I did it, I did a little dance in front of the t.v. No more Bachelor or Bachelorette for me. I think it was when I heard one of the guys talking about "taking it to the next level." I asked myself, how many times have I heard that saying in the 14,000 seasons I've watched? Anyway, it was like pulling off a Bandaid. Yay me.

LOL Roblover! Ben F and Constantine really do look so much alike, I too have had a difficult time telling them apart. Finally got around to watching the full episode from last night. Random thoughts... * Absolutely hated that white skirt Ashley wore on her date with Ben F. Or maybe it was the shoes? Something about that outfit made her look bow legged. Not a good look for her. * Thought it was a little strange Ashley would wear four inch platform shoes to go on a date that was nothing but walking. I can't imagine her feet weren't killing her. * Astonished Lucas is still there. Have we even heard two words from him? * At the beginning of the 1:1 with Ben F, Ashley commented that she isn't sure he's ready to let someone get close to him. Thought that was an odd comment from a girl who has yet to let go of you know who. * Even in pink, Ames is a hottie!! * Does anyone remember seeing Micky smile anytime this season? Guy just always looks like he's always annoyed. * Way to go JP! I would have figured Mickey to win that match. * I'm a little surprised Ashley didn't go to the hospital with Ames, or at least check in with him there after the fight. That didn't sit well with me. * William -- just very, very immature. I feel a little bit sorry for any girl who dates him. So, five episodes in, I think the problem with this season all comes down to Ashley's lack of self-confidence. A TV show just seems like the wrong forum for her to be looking for a husband. She's a sweet girl and seems to have a kind heart but I think she's just completely out of her league all the way around. At least she stopped the compulsive nervous giggle she had going in the first two episodes, but now she seems in her "dark place", whether because of you know who, or because of Ames injury, or because of things the guys say that bring out her insecurities. She really needs to get a handle on the insecurity thing, just in terms of being successful in life. This season really is the ultimate train wreck, but of course, the train wreck is the reason I tune in. I'm not a hopeless romantic, and I've never really believed "true love" can be found on a dating show. It's the meltdowns and crazies that make the show for me. That said, watching Ashley struggling so much just really takes the fun out of it.

Jezzed -- I so agree about the high heels and her looking bowlegged! Noticed it SO much last night. I guess the guys think it looks hot, but wearing 3 inch heels every day, on every date just seems so odd to me. Is that really what she wears in her normal live? 3 inch heels and miniskirts?! She'll have a thriving dental business dressed like that I think.

I don't have a clip but just finished watching the last of the casey anthony trial from today and deleted and my tv was on NBC and there was Jay Leno with an Ashley spoof where I guess from a real interview she was talking and one by one the interviewer panel is running away, one of them hangs himself and she keeps talking.. she was being interviewed on an LA stating KTLA5..

Jezz, at first I was surprised that Ashley didn't go to the hospital too. But I don't think the producers would allow that because she was obligated to do the rest of the date they had set up for her and the guys. I know the producers want to follow the regular format, let Ashley find out / come to conclusions about Bentley on her own, show the dates in time order - but I wish they would just show Ashley the footage of Bentley talking bad about her. I wish they had shown her right away so she could have made stronger connections with the rest of these remaining guys. This is the least interesting season ever, imo. I don't think it is because of Ashley or the guys either. The heart wants what the heart wants. She wants Bentley. I blame the producers and Bentley for leading her on.

Honestly, I think it was kind of disrespectful of Ashley, who agreed to setting these guys up in fights against each other (and she kept saying how "hot" it was... please!), to not even watch the last fight and to go in search of help for Ames. Given there was one injury already, there could have been another while she was off running around. She should have sent one of the other guys for the producer. She is just in over her head, and her obsession (and yes, that's what it is) with Bentley is ruining for her, for the other men, and for us.

I blame the producers and Bentley for leading her on. I couldn't agree more Happymom. Honestly, I feel pretty badly for her. Regardless of whether she found "love" or not at the end of the season, Ashley is left looking like a foolish, insecure little girl and now can only sit back while all of us armchair critics weigh in on her behavior. It's got to be painful for her.

I think you have to go into a show like this with almost rock solid confidence in yourself, good perspective and not take it overly seriously or it can eat you up. Ashley is lacking in all those areas. The sad thing is that the lack of those qualities does not mean that she isn't a great person and wouldn't make a wonderful partner for the right guy. It's just this show and situation is ripping her apart. It's hard to see how she has a remote chance of building any lasting relationship out of this debacle.

<<--- Also blames the producers for this debacle. Bentley should have NEVER been allowed on the show once he admitted he wanted the bachelorette to be Emily. When they saw what he was saying in his ITM's, they should have escorted him out of the house and on to the next flight back to Utah.
