no i didn't get that impression, naja, i think they were being really honest. that for them, it would be great cause she would 'get' them. it is different when you don't have kids. they were supposed to be honest with him.

Well, I think it's pretty much decided even though the rose thing hasn't happened. By him just asking Emily if he can be Ricki's "real" father, that says it all. I don't think he would say that if he wasn't decided already.

That was weird. Emily has been very consistent the entire season. She is not particularly emotional, except where it comes to Rickey. She is much more pragmatic ( as she should be as a mother). Why Brad was so offended that she posed those questions to him is so self absorbed of him. He should be applauding her for being that concerned about her daughter and not his silly quest for a bride. The moment someone doesn't put him first, he feels shot down. Well, thats what having kids is about . Especially when he marries a family. Wake up bud.
And, I don't see any chemistry. I think he likes her a lot but.......

I don't think there was a single minute I felt Brad and Emily were in love during all these weeks. This whole ending was a shock for me. As a matter of a fact, every week it was a shock for me that Emily stayed. I felt she never showed any "real" interest or feelings. I felt like Brad kept keeping her on because of thinking "well maybe next week we'll have the connection. She's just too cute to send home".
I never thought the connection happened with Emily, all the way down to the final dates, but apparently Brad felt it happened.
