I thought the wedding pretty anticlimactic and pretty sappy. But they're married and I wish them many happy years.

Yes, there were some sweet moments from both families. Bachelor Nation of course made it about the shows but they got a free wedding, rings, venue etc., so it was a trade off.
I'd say it was a win for the franchise.
They did reveal that Gerry had been talking about moving to South Carolina (or North?) for some time but hadn't, and it turns out that three of Teresa's grandsons live there, so it made sense that they will move there.

Even with all the tears, I didn't find the wedding to be heart warming.
Why did she make them look into each others eyes in front of the wedding guests.
Why did she ask them where they will be in 10 years.

It was not a good show. I'd rather it not be "live" and have less silly interviews. And the proposal by earrings was a ridiculous attention-grab. I don't care if he got permission, you just don't steal other's thunder!

Yep. A win for the franchise but not for viewers who aren't "Bachelor Nation". And just a mishmash of "opportunities. If the bride, groom and families were ok with it, good for them, but kind of awkward to watch.

The main upside was that there was less animosity amongst the women (some but not nearly as much) and there were fewer cringey dates.

Good interview about Bachelor Nation in general. "After Reality" with Courtney Robertson. Her last one with Alanna Noel, former Bachelor producer. Very eye opening!
