Thought I'd get this set up, since it starts next week! Can't wait. BIP is the highlight of my summer.
But can I just say, what is up with Dean's Porn Stash? I always thought he was so handsome, but that stash makes him look like his own grandfather. Ugh!

Even though I quit watching The Bachelor/Ette a couple of years ago, I love BIP. It is the best of the franchise.

Absolutely! Although, as disappointed as I was in the franchise choosing Hannah as the Bachette, I was surprised at how much I ended up liking her. Yes, she chose the wrong guy, but she didn't have all the facts, and when she did she promptly dumped his lying ass. I hope she and Tyler make a go of it. He was one of my early favorites!

BJM, the good thing about me not watching the Bachelor or the Bachelorette for the last few years is everyone who is on the most recent seasons are "new to me" so I have no preconceived notions about them on BIP.

I'm not sure that's a good thing, Lexie. I think being familiar with the people who are showing up in Paradise is helpful. Sometimes they try to change, but usually, they just stay true to who they are. Can't wait!

Yeah but BJM, I absolutely hate The Bachelor and the 'Ette. Production interference has totally ruined the franchise for me.

I mostly just watch for the exotic dates, the gorgeous locations and the drama of the cat fights. Watching Hannah kick Luke to the curb was totally satisfying. Even though she picked the wrong guy, he think she really grew through the season and at the end was okay standing up for herself and realizing that she didn't need a guy to be happy. I was proud of her.

I agree about Dean and that awful mustache. WTH? I'm hoping he can redeem himself this season because I found him adorable. But with that 'stache I'm not so sure...
Can't wait for BIP! Let the drinking and crying commence!

Brenda, did you watch Dean on the last BIP (or was it the year before?)? He was a dog. He strung along two different girls, and then ended up with neither one of them. Dean is not a nice guy.

Yes I did watch, which is why I'm hoping Dean can redeem himself. I think he's mostly immature and insecure. I hope he's grown up a bit!
Now this season, it looks like Blake is going to be the dog.

I usually love watching BIP..... not so much this year. Tired of the Blake drama and, sorry for saying this, but the women stirring it up.... 'having their friend's back'.... I want to say, "just let it go ladies, in a year, it will mean nothing".
Wells was a bachelor contestant on an earlier bachelorette season. He went on BIP and eventually became the bartender.... he's great!! and engaged to Sarah Hyland, who played Haley on Modern Family.... such a good match for the 2 of them.

Wells is the BEST!!! I love him, too! He seems to be giving good advice, rather than stirring the pot, telling people they should tell the other person how they feel, etc. So glad he's back this year.

The woman stirring things up "having her friend's back" -- that was involving Clay, not Blake. And yes, I agree that she was not doing anyone any good with that drama, esp the timing of going up to him right before his date.
AS for Blake, I think it's good that the ladies confronted him about his behavior. I'm not sure yet if he's a cad or really just clueless. I think a lot of these guys don't know how to handle the sudden fame and onrush of attention from girls. BUt he's old enough to know better and he's not very skilled at stringing girls along it seems (which is a good thing, means there's hope for him). BUt the beauty pagent girl just needs to have her say and get on with it -- not mope around for 3 days. Enough.
I really wanted Wells to be the Bachelor way back when, but I'm so glad we get to see snippets of him and that he's found happiness. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we get to see his engagement at the end of this show.

Blake released the texts between him and Caelynn. Reading them, he doesn't come across as a cad. Regarding the whole Stagecoach hookup the night after he was with Kristina, reading the texts it was Caelynn that wouldn't take no for an answer and more or less showed up at Blake's doorstep.

Interesting. Honestly it doesn't surprise me much because I thought Caelynn was a bit nutty on her season. So she's throwing herself at this dude and then mad when he acts like a dude. And he's just inept at handling this onslaught of women. Can't find a way to say no and gets wrapped up in this drama. And then when he gets to PAradise he ignores Caeylynn probably because he feels uncomfortable. Ugh. What a mess.

I thought Dylan and Hannah made such a cute couple. He's so into her and seems to just adore her. I know she's trying to remain "open" to possibilities, but she's not doing herself any favors by hopping from guy to guy to guy. Eventually Dylan's gonna get fed up with her kissing other guys and look elsewhere. I feel bad for him.
