Thank you, Karuuna! Excellent point. I'm with you, Lexie! Can't wait!!! I love Mexico and especially Pureto Vallarta. I enjoy seeing the beaches and the fun places they get to go on their dates. And the drama of the couples and their messy breakups. Just fun!

Late enough to be who cares, but still readable and very little love for BIP among her commenters.
Who mentioned BIP here? 
It's not some evil plot, Sea. People suggest you watch it because you keep mentioning it here (albeit negatively) and they like you and think you would like it. It's a friendly thing.

Lots of developments on the front for the next season. There are reports out there that Peter turned down having his own season- which conflicts with why anyone goes on this show (for publicity for whatever business/brand they are promoting). Everyone goes on in hopes of getting their own season (not to mention it was in his yearbook that he wanted to be the Bachelor and he gave an interview after Rachel's season was over that he was "open to it"). Then there are reports that Peter flew out to LA yesterday to meet with TPTB - so know one really knows what is going on for next season.

Wells? He would be a good choice. He seems like a nice guy. They may have put him on BIP to groom him for the Bachelor. That's how Nick got the job last year. They keep stressing that Wells is only there to mix drinks and offer advice, so "Hands off, girls!" Could be.

Yeah, but BJM when they filmed BIP last month TPTB thought Peter would be the next Bachelor. But it is possible they were grooming Wells "just in case" there were no eligible men from Rachel's season.
I just find the whole thing so odd that he would turn it down when the whole point of him going on the show was to get his own season. They spent all season on "he's not ready to propose" for his story line. The only thing I can think of is maybe something concerned him about how his season would be portrayed. So who knows?

Oh no, I think Peter was far more popular on social media than Eric. Everything I read said Eric was cute and sweet, but too young. Peter was everybody's dreamboat, including Shaeffer! She was not happy that Rachel picked Bryan.
I have a bad feeling about Dean. I've heard rumors that things get messy in Paradise, and Dean doesn't come out looking so good.
I still think it could be Wells. He's sweet and single. Everybody loves him. Remember, Lexie, even though this was filmed last month, it's never too late for the producers to go back in and give Wells the "Future Bachelor" edit.

Correct BJM, things get super-messy for Dean on BIP and is still carrying on now - long after BIP has finished filming. Trust me - Dean can't be the Bachelor and start his season off saying "he's looking for love." LOL
RS doesn't think that the producers didn't want Peter. RS has always said if Peter wasn't the new Bachelor it was because he turned it down. RS thinks despite what Fleiss is putting out there (because Fleiss does tend to "twist the truth"), he thinks Peter turned it down (which really doesn't make sense since he met with production twice post-Rachel). The whole thing is just bizarre.
If it is true that Peter turned it down, then I think Wells will be the new Bachelor. They could have been "grooming him" on BIP in case it didn't work out with Peter.

I think Dean's playing Kristina for her rose this week and will switch his attentions to someone else next week. Dean is too pretty not to know his own power with the ladies, unfortunately.
Lexie, I'm thinking TPTB and Peter couldn't come to an agreement about something (salary, shooting schedule, etc). Or maybe they'll work it out and he'll be the Bachelor. We'll never know until they make the official announcement.

It could be something like that BJM. RS said if Peter isn't the new Bachelor, he turned it down. But there is still time to come to an agreement (or recruit Wells). Filming doesn't start for another month or so. It's not like the Bachelorette where filming starts the Friday that the finale and AFTR airs for the Bachelor.
