on my local news they said Ben has said his wine website has been flooded with women offering to cheer him up and he won't say 'yet' if he will be the new bachelor.

I can not see Ben as someone who many women would set their hats for. He has a nice body but don't really like his weak chin, his unkept shaggy hair or his plastic surgery-looking nose and was a little too silly for my tastes. Am I missing something about him?

Yes, I have to say you are, Txhazeleyes! Maybe he's just not your taste, but I loved Ben! I absolutely love men who can make you laugh and who aren't afraid to be silly. I much, much, much prefer Ben's "unkept shaggy hair" to JP's shaved head (just not a fan of that look!). Why would you say his nose looks like he's had plastic surgery? Just looks like a normal nose to me. Loved Ben to pieces. If I was 30 years younger and not already married, I'd definitely be interested in him! Would love to see him as the next Bachelor.

Oh, I wasn't comparing him to JP at all. I wouldn't like to have seen JP as the bachelor either. Believe me, I love a man who makes me laugh but not that kinda silly stuff so yeah, you are right about that. The tip of his nose is sort of "pinched"? looking. I do like some guys with long/longish hair but not the uncombed look. Don't laugh but I'd like to see the last Ryan as The Bachelor.

Okay, Txhazeleyes, I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing at Dogdoc. LOL! Yes, I did love Ryan, too. I understood why Ashley sent him home, though. She just wasn't feelin' it with him. He seems like a very nice guy. I'd love to see him find someone nice.

Ben is not the kind of guy that would turn my head and make me go "oooh, he's so hot!". But after watching him on the show, seeing how good natured he is, how silly he is and how much he made her laugh, I fell for him. Guys who can make me laugh are so attractive.
Now Ryan *was* the kind of guy who could make me turn my head, make me think "Oooh, he's so cute!" But after seeing him on the show, he just seemed a bit too desperate, needy, and like a big old rear-kisser. When he talked about all his prep prior to the show, reading the self help books, it just confirmed the desperate angle to me.
I think both are genuinely nice guys so as a next Bach would probably be good candidates.

Apparently Ben is doing just fine since he was left as Ashley's F2. I read that Jennifer Love Hewett took a fancy to Ben and when she saw that he was F2 she hopped on a plane to SF where the two met for drinks. I guess they hit it off and they went home together.
