Did spellcheck on this site get an upgrade? I was just typing a post, and misspelled words were underlined in red, and one word where I transposed letters autocorrected itself. It's doing it now as I type in this window. Before, the spellcheck only showed up in yellow highlights after I hit "preview."
Just wondering if its a TVCH upgrade, or if my browser is doing it.

I thought I was using IE9. Just checked and it's IE10. My system must have upgraded itself, cause the last IE I'd heard existed was 9.
My computer did power down and upgrade sometime last night or this morning. So it must have upgraded IE for me without asking.

I've had the same experience, Who.. it isn't even consistent with what it flags here and other symptoms on other sites..

For the past few days, random words will be highlighted and linked to some kind of ad. What is causing that?

Texannie, I haven't seen that here and we've made no changes at TVCH. Have you been experiencing this on any other site that you visit?

Texannie, that's a known malware. You need to run some kind of malware scrubber (Malwarebytes is free) to get rid of it.
Also look to see if "text enhance" is loaded in your plugins, and disable/remove it.

Texannie, have you tried turning off text enhance? It's a plug in, and wouldn't be detected as malware.

i couldn't find text enhancer, but did find some coupon add ons that were enabled. i unabled them and i think that was it.
